And you have the "loonie," too, don't you? Is that the $1 coin? The U.S. has had so many $1 coins in the past few decades that just didn't catch on ... the Eisenhower dollar, the Susan B. Anthony dollar, the Sacajawea dollar, and now I think they have presidents on them.

yes we do...

the difference is that we replaced out paper $1 and $2 with the coins...paper money in these amounts are no longer in circulation.
we also have have special coins from time to time, but they were for collectors.

Afternoon everyone. Well I'm back to work and stressed out all ready LOL. The internet people never showed up yesterday to connect me and told me untruths twice on the phone yesterday when I called. It's fair to say I'm not a happy camper. Hopefully the week improves from here.

I don't like that time, but it is quite magical when the lights are turned on to brighten the world...!

The presidential dollar coin program has been suspended due to cost and lack of interest. This really upset my father in law since he was collecting them for his grandkids

my b-i-l does the same w/ his grandsons.

Have you considered sending a letter to the editor of the newspaper? You could sound concerned with her "disappearance" and explain your situation.

I can't believe it is basically 2pm. I have been busy, I still have to do laundry and dishes before I pick up the children. I made it to Toys R Us and I was able to get the last Tabeo in stock, I was so happy to get it, but they were sold out on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures. I guess that is a fine trade off, the Tabeo is only available through Toys R Us, and the TMNT I can get at any store. So Christmas shopping has begun for us! Should be a pretty basic rest of the day, and my haircut is done also, so Walken look for me now. cheesy

Hey everyone! How are you all today? I am well. Just stopping in to say hello! Hoping you're Tuesday is going well!

What is new and exciting in your neck of the of the woods? Nothing new is going on here. I am getitng more excited about Christmas everyday. I almost have my kids done - which is actually the easy part, even though they get the most gifts. Oh well - at least I will have two people done soon!

Made: So I'm talking to my mom on the phone this morning and says that she thinks a box is coming QVC. I asked her what she got this time and she says, "Oh...it's something from Jim Shore...his basket set thing." I freaked out! I told her how bad I've been wanting to buy those, but DH thought they wouldn't pay themselves. She asked me if I wanted them for Christmas and I kept telling her no, they're too expensive. I hope she doesn't get them for that reason, but I still would love to have them someday!

Nothing new here jsut the usual work !
Had a meetng last nght to do with the christmas lights went well
I came across a new thing called a human snow gobe thought it was a brill idea and i thought they wood never go for it but they went for it big time.

This is a photo of it am sure you guys have seem it before but its new over here. you can step inside and get your photo took

Gonna start tomorrow and bring up the christmas pallets.

And its scoobys birthday today hes a big 11

So must fly and get a cuppa you all have a good day and hugs to all furbabies

It's all the glitter Christmas items they are selling on QVC and somehow turned into a drinking game to drink up (doesn't have to be alcohol!) when you see glitter.

I just don't know how that all started. Made??? Explain please!

I don't know if this is correct, but I think Binger started the game when we were all watching QVC Christmas in July.........They said every time you see glitter drink something........So we did !! Is that what happened Made......?? xo

Good Evening!

I just got myself a second job...temp one until Christmas, but will be nice to make some extra spending money. Only 14- 12 hour days!

I will be a demo girl for the keurig coffee machine I don't even drink the stuff, but oh well, guess I can take everyone's word for it that it is good. Maybe Binger can stop by and help with the promotion! Have to get myself a good chair since I only get a 1/2 off for lunch and am expected to stay at my display table the rest of the time.

Maybe I should have thought more about this before saying yes!!
