Good evening, Christmas family

I am on my way to bed. I am super, super tired tonight. I am a little worried about my Hermione. The right side of her face is all swollen up. She is not acting sick. She is breathing just fine, playing normally, eating normally but that side of her face is REALLY swollen. I looked in her mouth, no sores, no tenderness. I can't figure it out. I am going to see if it resolves in the next day or so and if not, to the doctor she goes.

i am getting oober excited about Christmas!! i wasn't like this last year. i mean i was but not this soon & it seemed to be more of a chore to decorate & this year i'm getting all kinds of new ideas to do around the house!! yippee!

my rents are back from my sister's @ the beach. house & dog sitting again as sis *& b-i-l went on a cruise. i really missed them this time. i do every time though. my daddy came back w/ a cough. i worry so much about him. he had this same cough last month & here it is again. my daddy's 80 but acts like a 60 yr. old. usually full of energy. he's got some Mucinex he's taking but he has heart & blood pressure issues so he won't take anything else. i'll keep a tight watch on him. please keep him in your prayers.

my mama is well. she's the cutest little thing. she asked me to take her to an appt. on Monday so i'm going. she & my daddy worked in the textile mills here in our tiny town for years. it was discovered in the last several years that aspestos (spelling?) was all over everything they used. long story short my mama has some lung issues from it. she has a specialist she goes to. my mama is 76 & runs circles around me any day!!!!! this appt. is to discuss some breathing issues she has @ times. lordy lordy, don't know what i would ever do w/out them!!!!!!!

Good for you for sticking to your guns and getting what was due you! We've had cable TV with this company for years, and just added on Internet. Our phone service is still separate. Hope your service is great and stays that way!

Thank You! That was what prompted me to make the move in the first place, they were promoting this - you can get an overall 10% cost savings by "bundling" everything together with one company, so I kinda figured, ah why not. I guess there is one good thing about it, is that there will only be one bill to pay instead of 3 like I had previously. That will my life a little bit more easier and save on stamps as well...cheesy I hope everything goes and stays well with your combining of services as well!

You know what?! Same here about my excitement this year. I always love Christmas, but this year I am SO excited x892377612736186. Last year I remember I was tired of carrying all of the boxes upstairs to decorate. This year I will carry them all myself and decorate alone if I have to! Luckily for me, my mom is really excited too. And my brother gets into Christmas. I will definitely keep your dad in my prayers. I hope everything is okay with him and that it is nothing. Just keep watching out for him. My pap is 87 and acts in his 60's as well and will never admit when something is bothering him. I know the feeling! Your mom sounds amazing. I hope her appointment goes well - I will pray for her too. I am going to Disney World! Sad to leave home because I do love my home but then again I am excited! Send me some chili, yum!

Long time, no see....good evening. Had to work late tonight...just getting home. Having some issues with some things at school with some unhappy parents and trying to get things resolved. Then you got paperwork, then more paperwork.

Anyways....it sure makes me ready for Thanksgiving. We gotta go buy some stuff for Halloween this weekend, but Thursday I'm getting Christmas light out and Sunday I'm putting them up. Not going to get them plugged up, but they will be ready for the night before Thanksgiving.

Was going to try to catch up, but there are over 50 some odd pages, so it's gonna have to wait!

Today was our big day where we switch from one provider to another for our Internet, cable and telephone services. The install seems to have went pretty smooth overall, but we had a glitch with the TV programming vs what they were going to billing us.

After I made few phone calls over the period of two hours, and me telling them I was going to cancel, I finially got a hold of the manager and then, Miraculously; they resolved the problem and as a "I'm sorry" gesture, they gave us the Encore and Starz channels for two years for free. We also got a 200.00 gift card for siwitching providers and 50% off of Epic's for two years as well - Overall, not too bad for a little haggling...

So here I am up and running and I'm liking it so far, right now, I am considering myself lucky and counting my blessings!

I still on the edge of a flu. As long as I am able to work tomorrow everything is fine. Tomorrow I am the only one of my team who is in the office, everyone else is at the company fair.

I got a question for you. Maybe someone can help me. I'm very interested in the american history, mostly in the time of the westward expansion and the whole daily life of the pioneers during that time (I honestly admit I got inspired through Little house on the prairie). I read a lot of books about it but I would like to join a online community to talk about those times. Does anyone knows such a community or forum? I searched with Uncle Google but so far didn't find anything.

Thank you, it's looking better than yesterday. The arrangements for FIL are settled, and he'll be laid to rest on Friday. And the cable guys came today to resolve the constantly dropping Internet (installed Saturday, dropped the signal about eight or ten times since), so I have my fingers crossed that the cable modem will stay online now. They replaced the signal splitter and a connecting cable with a loose collar, and checked the main cable as far as they could go without getting into the wall. (Why couldn't the installer have done all that Saturday---??) Fingers crossed.

That sounds better. I hope it stays that way.

Being a teacher isn't easy and it doesn't get easier if you have to deal with demanding parents. I hope the stress at school will be over soon.

Thanks, Shellie xo The whole left side of her face is swollen. I examined her teeth, nothing abnormal there. There is no tenderness in her face, just the swelling. Can't figure out what happened.....But if it is not better tomorrow, she is going to see the doc. I am planning on speaking with her doctor later today !! xo
