I'm just getting worried too about the fact that DH or I might get stuck at work - he for the fact that they will need for flooding issues, etc or people may not be able to get to work and me for the same reason - people can't get to work or they will say disaster mode, then I am stuck too. If the roads are flooded, we're in trouble for sure, but I guess we'll just have to see. Nurses and firefighters are needed 24/7 - I just hope it isn't as bad as what they're saying.

After that, I got home to my house yesterday evening and then got my house ready for this storm, I took down all my Halloween decorations that I put up last week, brought in all my deck furniture, got a spare propane tank for the grill, test fired the generator, filled up all the vehicles with gas and cut the lawn; Wheewwww.... I figure it's better to be prepaired, safe, then be sorry....

Now I'm at work, getting my hours in, just in case I cannot make it in Monday or Tuesday....

How great of you do that for your grandfather! Stay safe and keep us updated.

Good afternoon, MMC!

It is very windy out here and it isn't as windy yet as it is going to be. There are several trees down in the woods. At this time it is more so due to the drought conditions then the wind ~ there are a lot that are ready to topple and it won't take very much to make them fall. I worry about the animals out there.

Getting prepped here for a potential power outage ~ have to make sure there is enough water for the fur kids outside. Otherwise, I think we are as good as we are going to be cheesy

i can just see Hermoine now! that sweet little face! Will is working alot so it's hard for me to keep a check on his cough. as much as i can i do though. he says he feels good & the cough is mild. ya' know how seasonal allergies are too so it could really be just that. i pray it is. thank you for being concerned about him. you are a gift to me!

I LOVE Tyler Perry. Saw him in an interview once when he talked about his life as a child. Poor man. But he did NOT let it get him down. I admire his ambition and the fact that he has really done something with his life AND also that he is a believer in Christ !! His new movie looks interesting. I dont know that I have ever seen him in a drama before. One of my favorite movies of his is Madea's Family Reunion.......The scene where Madea is teaching the one girl who is being beaten by her fiance how to make "breakfast for a man" and the way to do it is "serve him nice hot grits !!" LOVE that scene.

Hermione is completely back to normal again. I will continue to pray for Will. I can only imagine how worried you are. xoxo

Not too much going on here today. DH is working, so it's just the kids and I. I think we're just going to hang out and relax. We were invited the other day to a Halloween party for the kids, but with my cold and it raining, I think we'll just stay in and cuddle. I'll probably throw something in the crockpot for dinner as well.
