Good Morning! :hi: It's been nearly 2 weeks since I was here last. We have been busy having fun, I got sick and my back went out in the middle of all that fun!

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving!!!

First of all Wayne and I went to Houston to see Paul McCartney on the 14th, he was fab as usual!

We had a great Thanksgiving, the very next day we headed to San Antonio for the Christmas Riverwalk Parade. We had a balcony room overlooking the Riverwalk and the hotel offered a dinner on the Terrace overlooking the parade. Food was great and we had a blast! On the way home we stopped by in Fredericksburg, Texas to "window" shop. Very nice little downtown district all decorated.

Tonight is Holiday in the Park at Six Flags. I am going to wear myself down again. I don't want to get sick AGAIN but I am having fun!

This is the first year in almost 15 years that I have not put my Christmas Tree up before Thanksgiving. Getting sick while being busy kind of put me behind but it will be up soon!

I really miss you all and have a few private message to respond to and will get to you soon! I hope to get back on here full time again. This IS the most wonderful time of the year!!!

Have a very Merry Day!!!

Always nice to see you !!!! xoxo

On our way to San Antonio we passed through, Carl's Corner, Texas!

Cool! Is that where Carl lives, or is it just named after him?

So, while drinking coffee I have watched the Andy Griffith show (one of the Christmas specials), Frosty, Frosty Returns, and I'm about to start on Fred Claus.

The best TV all year is Christmas time....

Good morning, MMC!

I woke up to a Winter Wonderland ~ absolutely beautiful out! I have a lot to do today ~ Palmer is assisting me so I'm sure it will take twice as long to do everything

Have a MERRY day!!!

:sparkle:

It's now a Winter Wonderland here in northern Michigan, too :)

Just finished trimming the tree. We went with a red/gold theme this year, and it looks quite beautiful, if I do say so myself. :sparkle:

Merry Sunday morning! I hope that everyone slept much better than I did. I think it was very first time in my life when I woke up at night because I was absolutely freezing. My room is very cold and it's not even funny. I woke up at around half past three. I put a pair of socks, another pair of woolen socks, a jacket and even extra trousers. I also put on my gloves and went back to bed trying to fall asleep again. Unfortunately, I couldn't so I went to kitchen to make a cup of coffee and take some dried fruits. I came back to my med, wrapped myself up into millions of blankets and I was reading a book until seven in the morning. And just then I started feeling sleepy so I fall asleep a little bit and I woke up again at 9a.m. Well, it was a really strange night. I'm still wearing my gloves now. Oh. Well. Hope your homes guys are warm enough not to wear gloves or sleep wearing few layers of clothes.

Good morning, Victoria! Happy Sunday to you, too! Aw, I am sorry that you did not sleep well. Last night was surprisingly the first night for a few days now that I actually slept. I could not imagine being so cold and then getting up and having to layer! I do enjoy reading a book in bed, maybe that's why you were able to fall back to sleep. I hope tonight brings you a better sleep!

Good mornirng all !

Good morning, Aleksa! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Good afternoon...
The Christmas tree is UP!
I love it! =)

Today Im going to do some more decorations!

Hope YOU have a super Sunday! =)

I am sure your Christmas tree is so pretty, Solice! We finally got ours decorated yesterday. Wow! That really is cold. It's about 32°F here. I am hoping for some snow, but we haven't seen anything but some scattered flurries. That sounds like the perfect day to enjoy some Christmas fun! Have a marvelous Sunday!

good morning MMC...it is 1pm here now and Kandice and I are watching Karate Kid...done and still do some laundry....might continue to do some work in the house....might as well go outside with her later on...not sure yet...but we sure gon have a splendid Sunday....take care my friends

Good morning! The Karate Kid is a good movie! I wish I could go outside, but it is way too cold to even think about. I don't feel like bundling up in layers. Have a wonderful Sunday with Kandice!

CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY #13

Good Morning.

OK!
All together now.
What holiday is ONE MONTH from today?

{{{{ Wow! Not so loud! }}}}

Days to Christmas Day: 30 (Yep. That checks out. You're right!)

Much chillier here yesterday with some wind, too.
No rain, however.
Hopefully, it will be a bit warmer today.
We are at a cold 27 degrees here, currently.

Have a Super Sunday, Friends!
I hope everyone is enjoying their Season to the fullest.

Good morning, Crown! Thanks for yet again such a wonderful update. Christmas is so close, right around the corner! I can't believe we'll be in the 20's so soon. Yikes, that is pretty cold. We're only a few degrees warmer here. Have a great Sunday!

Good morning!!!

Good morning, Xmas! I hope you have a great Sunday!

I'm wore out....today...a lot of work to catch up on.

I can promise you this...Christmas Break will be more relaxing than this!

I'm going to read the boards seeing as how I havne't been here since Friday morning or maybe Thursday. See y'all later!

Wow, what a busy week you've had! No wonder you are so drained. It sounds like you need to hibernate for the day to try to catch up on some sleep. I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving! I hope my Christmas Break is more relaxing, too! Only a few more weeks. Have a great Sunday!

Good morning, CAH! So nice to see you! I am sorry that you got sick and that you pulled your back out. My mom did that last year and it was not pleasant. I am glad that you were able to enjoy seeing Paul! Six Flags is always a fun time! Just take it at a slower pace on yourself. At least you know that you can get the tree up soon and it won't be very long until you're able to enjoy it again. I agree with you, this is definitely the most wonderful time of the year. Enjoy your Sunday and I will be praying for you, CAH! Take care!

Good morning, everyone! How are you all? I am well. Just sitting here drinking a cup of coffee and EA is watching a Christmas cartoon.

I wish it could be like this year around...all the specials on tv and such. I have been DVRing a lot of it, that way when she wants to watch something again, I have it.

What is everyone up to today? We're taking the kids on a Santa train ride at lunch time, doing a few errands, then we're going to come home and finally start decorating. We put turkey soup in the crock pot for dinner and I can't wait to eat it!

I hope you all enjoy your Sunday. I know we will. I love this time of the year and making memories with my family. Hope you're all well and doing the same. God Bless and talk soon!

Good morning, Sugar! I also have been DVRing a lot of Christmas shows/movies/specials on TV. Even though I will probably fill up my space soon, at least they are programs I love and I know I will take the time to watch. Enjoy your decorating, we just finished everything up yesterday with the tree. Have a wonderful Sunday with your family - I hope the turkey soup turns out great!

On our way to San Antonio we passed through, Carl's Corner, Texas!

How neat! Thanks for sharing the picture! I guess we know where we can find Carl hiding out when he's not at the Pines!

Sunday morning, lightly snowing. I am off to work again in a bit.
Hope you all have a fantastic day!

That sounds like the perfect Sunday morning (minus work). I love when it starts to snow during the holiday season. Have a great day and don't work too hard!

So, while drinking coffee I have watched the Andy Griffith show (one of the Christmas specials), Frosty, Frosty Returns, and I'm about to start on Fred Claus.

The best TV all year is Christmas time....

Well, that sounds like the perfect morning! I love Frosty. I still need to watch that this season. I haven't had much time to sit and watch anything with all of the decorating I have been doing. I totally agree - Christmas time offers the best TV shows, movies, and specials!

Good morning, MMC!

I woke up to a Winter Wonderland ~ absolutely beautiful out! I have a lot to do today ~ Palmer is assisting me so I'm sure it will take twice as long to do everything

Have a MERRY day!!!

Good morning, Meceka! I wish I had a picture to see the beautiful snow! We have only had flurries here so far. I hope that you get everything done that you need to today. I am sure Palmer is a wonderful assistant! Have a wonderful day and be careful if you have to go anywhere in the snow!

It's now a Winter Wonderland here in northern Michigan, too

Just finished trimming the tree. We went with a red/gold theme this year, and it looks quite beautiful, if I do say so myself.

I am so jealous! I wish that we had some snow. This is the perfect time of the year for it and it really gets me in the Christmas spirit. Your tree sounds beautiful! Red and gold are classic and look so wonderful together. Very festive! Have a great Sunday!

Good morning, MMC! I am finally caught up on the posts from this morning. I am so jealous that some of you have snow! So far, we've only had some flurries with no accumulation.

As of yesterday, the tree is not only up (as it has been since Monday), but it is now all decorated. It looks so pretty! We put 1,500 lights on it this year, which is a lot for a 7 foot tree. I am so excited to light the tree up every day!

It has been very nice to have the week off from college, but now it is going to be very busy over the next four weeks. I have a relatively simple week this upcoming week, but next week I will have a lot of presentations and big assignments due. Then I have one week of regular school after that, and then the week after is finals week. I am very disappointed that my Christmas break does not start until December 22nd. I always do all of my cookie baking the week before Christmas and now I will be busy with finals.

The only thing that will get me through the next few weeks is Christmas! I love this time of the year, it truly is the best. I love all of the movies, TV specials, and shows that are on. I record all of the holiday episodes of sitcoms like Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, and King of Queens. They are always so good!

I am going to begin kicking off my marathon of watching Christmas movies every weekend. I have so many movies to get through but not enough time!

A relaxing day ahead of me! Have a great day, everyone!

house is decorated...some small garlands...some figurines, some stockings and a small, small village....i was too tired to do it...then it hit me that next sunday is the 1st of advent....and that I need to have it decorated at least a week before that....which is today....so I did that...and then cooked some burritos....we had a good day today....but im tired...this week was hard

as i wrote the last week was very, very exhausting.....we had much more mail then usual....at least a hundred letters more each day with the exception of tuesday...then on monday i helped my uncle pack porcelin and glasses, since he was moving....then on tuesday i went there again to help clean his new kitchen...wednesday nothing...thursday...helping him pack boxes....and when i say helping him...it means doing it alone...since he never does anything...my dad came, too and helped...then on friday taking kandice to hockey practise, dance practise, work at home....and then on saturday....finally helping the uncle to move out and today first chilling and then doing the house, the laundry and then the decoration

Cookie baking today...won't get them all done, but I'm determined not to get behind this year! I usually get overwhelmed once the calendar turns to December 1st if I haven't got the tree up and the cookies made. I'm really hoping I'll take the stress level down a notch or two by being proactive in getting some things nicely completed and actually having time to savor the season!
I don't want to be a grinch!
How is everyone else handling their excitement and their to-do list?

Good afternoon, MMC!

:rudolph:

Good afternoon, everyone!

Hope you are all having a wonderful and relaxing Sunday.

It's hard to believe the weekend is coming to an end. I feel like Thanksgiving was just yesterday!

Everyone is quiet today! I just watched my Steelers lose. We are not looking very good this year. I believe we had eight turnovers just in this game - embarrassing! I would be shocked if we made the playoffs.

Enjoy your day!

:merry:
Good afternoon, MMC!

:rudolph:
Hello! How's it going there, friend? (Meceka)
I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday and getting some of their favorite seasonal tasks done...even if that includes laying on the couch watching Christmas movies!

A Steelers loss is always good news for my Bengals, who beat Carson Palmer and the Raiders today. The Bengals are looking good again, which is good since I still don't have hockey. :x
