Christmas Countdown - 2012

I just finished mixing up colored flavored sugar for sugar cookies. I made raspberry, lemon, key lime, cherry, and tangerine. Coming up will be blueberry, pina colada, cranberry, and pomegranate. The tangerine is SO good!!! I think I will go on line and order some margarita flavor oil.

My nephew was terrible last week so my sister threatened him. Every time he was bad, he had to go to the store with her to return one of his gifts from mom and dad. After two lego sets that he really wanted went back to walmart he started behaving.

(I had actually already ordered them and my sister picked them up too. So they were going back anyways. He didn't need to know that though.)
 
I just made B Big long post and Poof it went away...ahh..anyways I have a house full of people and its exciting..I have a few errands to run tonight and tomorrow,it always seems like I am running around on Christmas Eve!! Everyone is leaving on the 26th and it will be sad to see them go,but It looks like the weather is going to be awesome this next week...WE are going to Western Md and storm after storm is going to be hitting the app mountains the next week..it will be the first time we leave the little ones with a house sitter,and we are extremely nervous about that,but this is going to be our Honeynmoon since we never really had one!! It looks like a storm is scheduled for Christmas night in Wv and up to the Northeast..but around the 29th-jan 2 looks to be awesome with snow in the forecast every day.. I hope everyone here has A great Christmas..I just realized I missed Darlene Love this year!!dang it! Oh well Just 365 days until she comes again I guess!

Enjoy your holiday and vacation friend!!!!! I'm really hoping that storm falls apart before it reaches West Virginia or at least that the latest GFS model is right and takes it WNW of Indy. I don't like the Euro model at all.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a chilly day here but I'm more worried about Wednesday right now. It looks like we may see 6 to 10 inches of snow with 50 to 60 MPH winds. Basically a blizzard. Not Fun!!!! Mom and my aunt both have to go back to work then and that is the last thing they need to deal with. Today is going to be a busy day. I have to head to church here soon and then it will be off to deliver gifts to the family we adopted this year. After that's over it will be back home to cook. I need to make my macaroni salad, gingerbread whoopie pies, 2 cherry pies, and some more fudge to give to my neighbors. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

They said we may have that blizzard come through on Tuesday, right in the middle of Christmas! Stay safe, and merry Christmas. Hope travel conditions are alright in your neck of the woods.

I am not familiar with the GFS or Euro at all..but all the websites I visit talk about them and I try to decifer what it all means...I thought the Euro tends to be more correct that the GFS??? I don't know at all..I just know that if I follow a storm it always has me biting my nails because it changes constantly until about 2 to 3 days out... I find that weather.com is the more accurate one out of all the weather websites..but I am an amateur at this...I hope West Virginia and extreme western md around (frostburg) Elavation 2500 ft gets a lot of snow...but not freezing rain...we cant leave until sat the 29th but it looks like it will snow a few times before we get there and they already got 8 inches Friday night...I just hope there is a good snowpack there!!! Is there snow on the ground right now in INdy?
