54 days to Christmas Day.
A nice, crisp, not too cold 53 degrees this morning. Good driving-to-work weather.
Seventies today, then 60's tomorrow.
Enjoyed seeing all the kids dressed in their Halloween costumes at the mall last night. A bit strange, though, to see them trick-or-treating among Christmas decorations!

Glourious Morning to all! lets go for a sleigh ride. I'm listening to Christmas music on my TV, DMX music channel of Holidays & Happenings, which plays Christmas music Nov.1-Dec.30. If you have cable or satelite check your listings for music channels and find your holiday station and start enjoying the music. A mere 16 days till it starts being played on the radio. We've got a cold front coming through on Sunday, halloween decorations are coming down, only a few days till I start seeing Christmas in the neighborhood. Have a wonderful day.

Crownster~ BIX 'my little teddy', is doing fine..I almost panicked yesterday though... I accidently spilled spot remover on him and he disappeared!...*cough* BADDABING! BADDABAM! Glad to hear our super FOX is his wonderful sheltie self.
A BRRRRRrrrrrrrr kinda day, but lots of sunshine. It's an "off day" for me, and I mean that in the best sense! Yeah!
Remember: Drink your coffee: there are people in India (...er, North Carolina..) sleeping. BADDABAM...BADDABING...BADDABADDABINGBAM!!!!

Well, I played my first Christmas CD at work today (out in the open, that is!) and nobody blinked!! Usually there is some comment but I guess after 10 years, I'm becoming predictable!!!!!!cheesy

Ah, Percy Faith! My ALL TIME favorite instrumental Christmas music!
I purchased all of his old Christmas LP albums and transferred them - first to tape and later to CD.
This breathtakingly beautiful Christmas music should be in everyone's collection if you like orchestral music with dominants strings.

I bought the Percy Faith records on Crown's recomendation and I love them!!! I have one of them on my computer here at work and turn it loose periodically...I just love it! So I recomend it as well!!!
I'll second or third or whatever for Percy, the younger generation don't know what they were missing.
How has everyone been, things are starting to slow down here finally, but my eyes still havent healed enought to be fitted for new glasses yet so still have the store bought ones. A little blurry but they are passable. I have soloed a few times driving and passed with flying colors. Nope not hydroplaining just good old driving. lol
I have most of my fall decorating done now and sitting back with my good ole cup of coffee admiring all my hard work. Well maybe just my work, nothing is hard when you enjoy doing it.
Went for my walk this morning and had to wear a sweatshirt, coat, neck scarf and gloves. brrrrrrrr it was brisk, but had shed a little of it by the time I got home. Sure is beautiful with all our fall colors right now.
Well time for another cup of joe and back to cleaning. Have to do some dusting and changing in the guest room, will have guests come Turkey time.

November 2...Where the heck did the year go? This has got to be the fastest year on record!!! I'll be reliving my college days tomorrow night as I go and see Van Halen with David Lee Roth as lead singer...This is a tour that is purely for the money...but to get a glimpse of the old days, I'm willing to shell out my share...I don't think they sing any Christmas songs but if they do I'll report it here first thing Sunday morning!

Good Morning Dear Ones....still listening to those Christmas tunes there Casey? ~ Caroline Kennedy was in Lansing yesterday, signing her new book, "A Family Christmas", I wanted to go and just see her...afterall, I grew up with her. I just borrowed the book from the library and it is a Christmas lover's dream book! Lots of stories, poems, lyrics, prose.
