Hi, everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Wednesday! Most of my day was busy, but I took the time to relax and veg out in front of the TV tonight. I ordered the first couple of seasons of a TV series on DVD two weeks ago and they finally came today. It took long enough!

I am going to head back to bed now. I need a good night's sleep! I find that I never sleep through the night anymore. I always wake up 3-4 times at least. Oh well, at least I'm sleeping!

I haven't got as much done as I had planned to but it's okay because I spent some fun time with my mom going down memory lane.

I finally warmed up in front of the fire. I went to visit a friend of mine. She was told today that she is losing her job of 23 years. They are going to let her work another 60 days and will give her a $3000 severence check. Now she has to try to find another job. How sad is that?

Thats crap these days your only a number , hope she gets something else sorted before the 60 days

yip girl good idea. or is it possiable to even change vets, i have seem different vets no different things and use different drugs
By all means get on his case, wish has to be given the best chance,
dont feel beat up about not noticing it sooner, if they could tell us it wood be great, and we are not mind readers, you acted the moment you seen it,
and being honest idont think it wood have made a lot of difference
When your at it ask him about vitamins as well i will check this out for you
sometimes vets will not look into things, but your doing the right thing joining a site that deals with it goodluck

Very cold here this morning, we had such a mild xmas and now it seems winter is hitting us, they have forecast snow for next week!

Mum has the day off work today so calling down for some lunch before I head out to work! My last shift today then Im not back until wednesday!!

I was about to sit down last night and go through the posts before bed when my Internet went for a walk or something. All I know is it was not here and working. (kind of like some of the people at work!)
But at least it is back now, so I can read through as much as I can between dishes, baking, vacuuming, laundry and cleaning the bathroom. Then I leave for work.

Well my afternoon got ruined. I had to go get mom from work because she had a migraine. Then we spent an hour and half at the doctors office waiting for her to get a shot. We are finally back home though. Now what to cook for dinner?

pay back for all the times she had to do that for you! LOL

I have been freezing all day! The heat did not come on very often in my classroom even though it was so cold outside. It is still overcast and freezing outside now. I am going to take a pain pill and rest for a while. TTYL

I remember my girlfriend being so cold all the time too. She wore thermal underwear and several layers of clothing.

Oh darn! I have been eating salad all week, I am ready for some cheesecake! Maybe I will bring both?

He is acting like a cheerful little puppy! I just wonder if that heart medication makes them hungry? His appetite is in overdrive and I am afraid to keep giving him food all day long because I want him to stay at a healthy weight. So far he is good on that but I am keeping an eye on it! Thanks for asking!

Wish seems to have felt really good today. I started researching things in a K9 Kidney disease forum I joined and discovered that one of his meds, Benazepril, can cause elevation of the BUN !! So I am going to talk to the doc about this. Maybe he will consider changing to another drug. I hope so.

He is actually asleep by me on the loveseat which is where he always used to be. He is acting himself tonight for the first time in a while. Why Did I not know he was not feeling well ?? I am supposed to be his pet parent. I did get him to the doctor the minute he didn't want his breakfast...

I am happy to hear Wish is doing well!!!

Good evening, MMC friends! How is everyone? I am well, just trying to enjoy my night off. Been spending most of the evening studying.

What has everyone else been up to tonight? Tomorrow, I have to go grocery shopping and Verizon is coming to fix our Wifi. Hopefully then in the next couple of days, I can get caught back up on here.

I haven't got as much done as I had planned to but it's okay because I spent some fun time with my mom going down memory lane. Right now I am watching her old home movies from the 40's and 50's that were transferred on VHS in the early 90's. I don't think I have seen them since then. It's fun to see my mom as a kid playing and being silly. A lot of road trips were filmed going through USA and that is neat to see. It is also cool to see the old cars driving around!

I guess my love for animals was bound to happen because just about everything I see of my mom growing up in these videos she is holding a cat or dog! Same goes with my dad with photos, he is always holding a pet from guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and more.

Now just hoping to see some vintage Christmas video!!! A lot to go through so I hope there is some there!

I am going out with my mom on Saturday and then I get to see all the pictures of her trip down memory lane to Holland this past summer.

That sucks, did the company close? Reminds me of a story I heard where a company was getting rid of employees near retirement so they would not have to pay out retirement funds.
I hope she finds something soon.

I believe it may have went down throughout much of southern and eastern Ontario. Ours wasn't working from 9:10 until we went to bed. Apparently, it was restored early this morning.
