BREAKING NEWS!!!

Uh oh, Binger!!!

This one is for Crown, MerryCarey, Christmasstar and other tea lovers. The Today Show just had a segment and said, "Tea is the new coffee"! They were showing varieties of teas.

Binger, are you going to convert?.....

My, Oh My!
Is the world catching on?

Well, I need to go to the doctor for two things now. They were able to squeeze me in this afternoon. Luckily they said that they are advising flu patients over the phone and are not allowing them into the office. Hopefully I get some good news, keep me in your thoughts! I have to finish getting ready and get out of here soon.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had a great checkup with the cardiologist! The ticker is ticking away just fine, cholesterol is perfect, blood pressure is perfect...and I'm 35 lbs lighter. Nice! That's good news there my MMC brother....

Today is the last day of hunting season, so Jacob and I went hunting yesterday afternoon since he has guitar lessons this afternoon. We didn't see anything (except a million skeeters...in January!), but it was nice to get out in the woods. Ahh that's too bad! At least you had a chance to get out this year, me, well, this year, I never got the chance to. I'm looking forward to next season...

I will gladly let you keep all them skeeters down there....I hate them things....

.....and the anticipation of Christmas Season 2013!

Good day, all. I know it's been a day or two since I've checked in, so there goes my New Years resolution out the window. So much for that! I've just been really busy!

I had jury duty yesterday and I didn't get picked - thank goodness! I did my civil duty. I also had a meeting at work, right after, so I had to rush there. It was a busy day to say the least. DH did take us out to dinner though, so that made it all worth while!

I just found out today, a day before my test, now the postponing it. I am not very happy about it, since I have been studying so hard, but I guess I will soon be finding out when I will be taking it. I won't get into all of the issues on here, but needless to say, the book I was studying from, was an outdated one and there was new ones, which the info was changed. None of us got them and people failed because of it yesterday and this was because our nurse manager. I will just leave it at that. It's been very frustrating lately. I hope something is done soon.

Anyway, EA is at preschool today, so DH, DS, and I have just been having out. I am going to read a book here shortly. I am doing lasagna in the crockpot and Parmesan zucchini fries, plus breadsticks. I can't wait!

I will check back in later! Hope you're all having a great day!

Today is the 94th anniversary of the Great Molasses Flood in Boston.

On January 15, 1919, a tank holding over 2 million gallons of molasses burst, sending a 30-foot wave of molasses down the street. 21 people and several horses were killed, and many structures were damaged. Molasses was waist-deep in areas.

Local tradition says that on a warm day, you can still smell molasses in the North End.

Long day already.

Thanks for sending good thoughts!

The doctor is pretty confident that I broke my rib and I am on antibiotics for something else. Hopefully the medicine works!

Seems like you could outrun a molasses wave. Especially January in Boston, where it's bound to be cold outside.

Tree is down, nothing left but the memories.

:( It's tough, I know. Thinking of you!
Thank God there's a milestone right around the corner!

That's very sad, yet an interesting part of history that I wasn't aware of.
