Good Morning, friends!!

Happy Tuesday =]

What are your plans for the day?

I need to do some housework, course reading, and Harlowe
walking

It's really slippery outside! It's still sleeting, and just cold enough to freeze over good. I'm glad I don't have to do any running around today.

Hope you all have a fabulous day!!!

Sounds fabulous, Brad!!! Can hardly wait to see it!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I went to my brother's shop yesterday to look at the paint color on a truck he was working on. It was a very light silver with extra metallic flake in it...that's the paint for me! While I was there, I did some more final touch stuff for the equipment going back under the hood. Things like the A/C & heater covers that were looking rough, we pulled out and sanded & painted them. We're putting all new hoses on, then re-wrapping all the wiring harnesses so everything looks fresh & new.

And I finally got some sleep last night!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Xmas shared a Christmas song by Pentatonix on his Christmas Song a Day thread. As I shared with him, I watched this group throughout their whole "tenure" on Sing Off. They are a talented group, one of the best. Go have a listen. Avi, the bass man with the beard, did an awesome job on Baby, Please Come Home. They are not Darlene, but they do a great job!

Frost was on the pumpkin this morning. It is almost time for work. I always hate to sign off here in the morning! TTYL

Good Morning.

{{ What's that Carl? Oh REALLY?? }}

Good old Carl.
He's saved the day for me by stating that the 'Pines will be supplying ALL the free iced tea you can drink tomorrow at the weekly open house!
(What a sympathetic camel!)

Now I'm happy again and can bring the following proudly to your attention:
Days to the Season: 288
Days to Christmas Day: 330
Two weeks from today, Folks -- Milestone #2 -- the 1/4 Season marker.
Be here.
Aloha.

Well, the long-awaited warming trend has started.
We crested 50 degrees yesterday for the first time in quite a while and today we should reach at least the mid-60's.
And tomorrow -- the 70's.
WOW!!
At this moment, we show 49 degrees on our back door thermometer.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, my Friends.
And we (hopefully) will see you at the 'Pines this evening!

That crazy camel, he knows how to keep the spirits bright. cheesy

My sister came to visit recently, and brought a Christmas tote of mine =]

This Santa has been in my family ever since I can remember. My Mom said she & Dad are ready to start downsizing, and asked us if there's anything that we wanted that had sentimental value...I asked her for this guy and she couldn't find him for a few years. I was ecstatic when she did!!

He brings back so many childhood Christmases.

OK, we know you are not Canadian! LOL

Timmy's is short for Tim Hortons which is a popular coffee shop found in almost every center in Canada.

I see the ads on the boards when I watch hockey games, around here we say We are going to Dunkin, for our donut/coffee shop.

Crown needs a nap!!! It's Wednesday already??? It's okay to get a jump on it and prepare for a Wonderful Wednesday at The Pines!!! :D

Who else had their air conditioner on last night??? Yes, it was that miserable in our house. We have not ran the heater for 3 days and finally last night we had to have the air conditioner on just to get some sleep. 71 degrees out right now. I am hoping for some cold weather soon and possibly some snow!

Good thing about the warm weather, I get to ride my bike today! =)

We didn't, we had our electric blanket on low. cheesy

Snowflake!!! I love that Santa!!! So nice that you got it.

I have a couple of ornaments from my childhood. Wayne has one as well. We cherish those more than any other on our tree!

Neat!

I think instead of calling it metallic flake, I'll start calling it....

GLITTER!

And instead of a Firebird on the hood, we can do a Christmas Tree outline, or even better, a silhouette of Santa, his sleigh and the reindeer!

Who has a copy of Photoshop that can put that on a Camaro hood?!

That is great, what a beautiful Santa.

I wish I had some of my childhood Christmas stuff. It was all lost years ago between all the moves we did. I guess that is why I try to find old stuff that brings back some memories and why that Time/Life commercial means so much to me.
