Seawaters: If you want snow, hurry to eastern Massachusetts. The winter storm watch for Friday and Saturday has been upgraded to a blizzard watch. Even though it's two days away, they sound pretty sure of themselves.

...A POTENTIAL HISTORIC WINTER STORM AND BLIZZARD IS EXPECTED TO
DROP 1 TO 2 FEET OF SNOW ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION FRIDAY INTO
SATURDAY...

All boy, now that sounds exciting, I would be right out in it, just like a little kid.... It would especially be nice if you didn't have to work and if you were home, and had a fire in the fireplace, a cup of hot tea in your hands while looking out the window, as the snow is piling up outside.....

Uggggh (Is that what Charlie Brown says, lol)? I wish it was here, we have yet to get any amount of snow this winter.... It is starting to appear as another bust again for this year; snow-less again (As I am saying it just like Eeyore.....)

If that forecast holds, I sure hope I can work from home Friday. I don't want to be behind the steering wheel when there's a near-blizzard in progress. Nor stranded at the office, either. Our management is good about giving us leeway to work from home when weather conditions are treacherous.

I know blizzards are serious business and I don't want anyone to be in danger....I just don't like it warm in the Winter....I will be sure to say special prayers for all in the path of this storm xoxoxo

Believe it or not...I have has this same scenario for real many times in the Winter because I work entirely from home...I am very blessed xo

Good evening, all! Just wanted to check in so you all know that all is okay.

Tonight is my night off, so I will be doing some catching up on here tomorrow. DH will be working and the kids will be at preschool and daycare, so it will be a quiet day here.

Nothing new here to report. Hope all is well with everyone!

Talk to you all tomorrow! God Bless!

I am going to check out Simon's Cat and then put on jammies to watch TV. Hubby is at Knights of Columbus but should be home within an hour or two. Have a great evening, everyone! TTYT

That is good, hope you can stay home & stay safe!!

Wow!!! What a concert!!! I've always loved Charlie Daniels but to see him play in a venue like the pines just made me apperciate his talent even more.

Now that the concert is over I'm going to sign off for the night. Praying that everyone stays safe on the east coast this weekend and that everyone who is under the weather feels better soon. Goodnight!!!!

It is gonna be a doozy! They are already telling people to stay off the roads on Friday, one model said there is going to be 60 inches dropped in Boston, but the weather folks said don't believe that one. I better get my snow rake ready.

Good evening,

It was a busy night at work, lots of people preparing for the big storm. Customers were saying one school in the area has already said they will be closed for Friday. I talked to my management about what I should do if I can't make it in, so my plan will be in place, I am not going to risk my life for a few pounds of hamburger. Just winding down from work now, I hope everyone has a good night.

Good night, all!!

Sleep tight!! Stay safe & warm!

Only 322 days until Christmas!!!!!

=) XO

Hubby has been a die-hard 49ers fan for forever. But we both like the Ravens, too, especially Ray Lewis.

It's funny you mention that you like Ray Lewis. There is a local sports radio talk show host here in Dallas named Randy Galloway and he hates Lewis, and thinks everybody hates him. Today he was going over Forbes magazine "10 Most Hated Athletes" and Ray Lewis wasn't on it, he went crazy. Not to mention that Tony Romo is on it.

Here is the list in order from most hated to least hated.

1. Lance Armstrong
2. Manti Te'o
3. Tiger Woods
4. Jay Cutler
5. Metta World Peace (what the heck kind of name is that?)
6. Alex Rodriguez
7. Michael Vick
8. Kurt Busch
9. Kobe Bryant
Tony Romo

I am not saying I agree or disagree with this list, I am just sharing it because I thought it was interesting and never even knew this list existed.

this is ours...
Stratford - Mitchell - Southern Perth County
5:30 PM EST Wednesday 06 February 2013
Winter storm watch for
Stratford - Mitchell - Southern Perth County issued

Significant snowstorm threatening Thursday night and Friday.

An Alberta clipper currently tracking southeastward through the Dakotas is expected to track across the us midwest tonight and Thursday then track just south of Lake Erie on Friday. This clipper may intensify into a winter storm as it approaches Southern Ontario.
Many parts of Southern and Eastern Ontario may receive 15 cm (about 5 inches)of snow from this storm by Friday evening. Some areas may receive higher amounts, with 25 cm (about 10 inches) not out of the question

not quite as much snow as you, but still a fair pile
