Got a late start on the day and slept a little later than usual. Shouldn't be a big deal, I can be ready in about 20 minutes, so I can still get there at my usual time.

Looks like ballgames for me tonight, so I will see yall tomorrow.

We went to dinner at Round Table. We had a coupon for 30% off if we ordered online. We did, and our dinner was almost finished when we got there. That's the first time I've ordered RT online. For Ash Wednesday, we had the vegetarian Queen Guinivere. Really good. I was able to watch a little of the UNC/Duke basketball game. I totally love DUKE, even though my family members went to UNC and NC State.

That sounds yummy!!

Good thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

The bigwigs are still here, so we're all still looking busy. Actually, I have been pretty busy. That's good; it makes the day go by faster.

We're going to be able to visit my beloved Smoky Mountains this weekend. There's too much happening around here right now. I hope it won't be too much longer before we can visit!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!

I just finished with work and I have been cold all day too !! Hubby had the fixins for a fire ready to go and even cleaned the fireplace ! So I am sitting in front of a cozy fire unwinding.

Oh, I love a cozy fire! I miss the fireplace we always had a home! (Mom & Dads) Our friends have a fireplace in their basement & I go down there sometimes just to smell it. LOVE IT!!

We didn't overindulge, but we did have some of the best soup I have ever made. It was a simple minestrone that just cannot be beat. We both agreed that this is our favorite. The Italian sausage was fresh and just the right blend from our local market that makes their own. We won't have it tonight since we will abstain from meat, but we will have it tomorrow!

Sounds delish! It's amazing how good sausage can make a dish taste "over the top"! We have a popular local "meat market" (actually owned by my brother in law & his family) - they have the best sausage! Nothing else will do anymore!

I had a cheese pizza last night too. Actually I had a cheese, mushroom, onion, red & green bell pepper, jalapeno pizza on a tortilla shell with homemade pizza sauce. And it was quite tasty I must say. Might have another tomorrow! :smile:
