Hey Made, I watched that video you posted about Binger being the possible customer for that coffee. That is a lot of caffeine!!! I would think your heart rate would go way up drinking that. Yikes!

Thanks, Ryan! I guess I want some tips because the rooms are very pricey and want to make sure we make the most of it.

I noticed in the comments that the guy said he drank it over a couple of days. If you drank that all at once you would definitely end up in the hospital getting your heart shocked back to a normal rhythm.


Then again, if you already drink coffee by the pot all day long like Binger, your body may be use to that much caffeine.

I like how you worded this, Ryan. I think I will switch to a morning prayer time to remember my Christmas friends and to lift them up at the beginning of the day. I normally do that at night, but somehow, the morning time appeals to me. Thanks.

I will be praying for you this morning. I think we all go through slumps like this, but that doesn't make them fun or easy. But, i will remember you in my morning prayer time.

We are in suspense, too!

I'm excited to experience and report on the store! Kim and I discussed the possibility of visiting this weekend, but I believe next weekend (March 2) is the most likely date. She seems to have her hopes set on doing something else this Saturday. Until then, the suspense will kill me!

Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be a cool day here with snow, sleet, and freezing rain arriving tonight. Fun. At least we are supposed to get up to the mid 40's tomorrow so the ice won't stay around long. It's just going to be a matter of getting everyone to work tomorrow morning without wrecking. My big plan for today is to sit in the recliner and watch racing all afternoon. Maybe I'll make some brownies to snack on during the races. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

All that relaxing makes me wonder when the dishes will get washed? :-D

Oh, my! That store is gorgeous!!!

I would be, too. It looks very nice, especially from the outside. The website can be found here.

Also, apparently the owner used to own a store called "Christmas in the Capital," which closed the year I first moved to Ottawa (2006). An article that describes the relationship between the two stores can be found here. It's great to know that there is enough love and support of year-round Christmas stores. I can't wait to visit. It'd be real nice to be able to work year-round Christmas stores into a MMC Podcast this year, too. For that, we'll wait and see of Jeff's plans.

Work went well today and I am now tired and ready for sleep. I started my online class in creatitive writing today too. I just took my first quiz and got 100% !!!! I can't believe it !!

Hopefully the furnace will be all right! How are the new meds working for Mouse? I love learning, too. What new things have you researched?

Good morning, MMC!

It is cold here again - brrrr! I just turned the furnace up to 70 as 64 had me shivering. The new part is in the furnace and it is loud and the floor shakes when it runs so I'm not sure if it is fixed right yet. Time will tell!

Mouse had her first dose of meds this morning - she is hiding now. I have to give her two more doses later today. She did eat a few crunchies this morning and seems to be a bit better. I was supposed to go out and run errands all day but decided to stay home as I cannot leave the furnace on when I am gone until I know for sure that the noise it is making is not anything bad. It is too cold out to leave the cats without heat for more than an hour or two. I am so going to get this place insulated better this coming spring/fall!

I have my brother's computer to use today so I am going to be working on store research. Trying to branch out into areas other than glassware - I need to know what to look for when I go out to estate/tag sales this coming spring/summer. I love learning! cheesy

Just got done with lunch here. DH and I have been cleaning most of the day. We just have our great room to do yet. Toy Story is on, so that is keeping the kids busy.

Good morning, everyone. How are you all? I am doing okay. Just sitting here with the kids, letting DH sleep in. He's been working a lot, so I figured he deserves it.

Yesterday was my day off, so I start back tonight, for my first of 4 days. I'm not sure what's been going on with me lately, I sort feel like I am a slump. I thought this I wasn't going to get the "Winter Blues" and I'm not even sure if that's what it is, since winter will soon be over.

A lot is going on with a lot of my friends/co-workers right now. I know I told you about the one with cancer, but two of my friends, both are pregnant and one just found out she has a mass on her adrenal gland. She has to have emergency surgery. It can be very serious. If it would be cancer, I don't know if they will do chemo or radiation or not. My other friend, she just found her baby has a hole in it's heart, the worst kind of all and they also think the baby has Down Syndrome. They aren't concerned about the Down's, which they are very loving parents, but very concerned about the hole.

There is also another issue going on at work with one of my friends, which I really don't want to talk about on here, but it I think that is the thing, that is bugging me the most. All of the things, wrapped in one, just have me worried and have me praying for everyone that I just sort of feel "blah." I haven't been doing a whole lot extra, except for stuff with DH and the kids.

Tell me...does this sound stupid or normal. I know God only gives us things with can handle. I just sometimes don't understand why things happen the way they do, but as I said, I know he gives us what we can handle.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!!!! I'm so far behind on here it's not even funny. I'll try to get caught up later today or tomorrow. Mom is doing okay. Her handwriting is getting better but it's no where near where it use to be. It's probably better than mine though. She's walking pretty good too. She had the MRI this morning and it did show a spot on the brain. So they did another one with contrast. Now we just have to wait until tomorrow to see what the doctor says. I let her drive home from the hospital on the country roads and she did fine so she decided to go ahead and drive herself back to work. I don't know if she'll want to drive friday morning in the snow but at least I might get tomorrow off from driving her to work. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

been shoppin a little....grocery shopping that is...bought some stuff Kandice could eat that would make her feel nauseaus...but the little chipmunk won´t eat anything...poor little thing

no fun when the little ones are sick! I prescribe hours of cartoons while laying on the couch!

Thanks to the MMC friends who discussed pickle juice as a cure for muscle cramps a couple of weeks ago. I had to try it out around 10:30 last night & it worked! I mentioned it to a co-worker & she had leg cramps last night, so she'll be taking your advice next time too!

I've raced through the first couple of months this year with few issues. I seem to be getting the blues just as spring should be around the corner. I listened to Christmas music on the way to work today; I think that's my first time this year. It seems that I am the hamster on the wheel when it comes to getting anything done at home. I'm holding steady but can't see any progress & it's frustrating. Oh well, that stuff will always be there, so I intend to enjoy life & work on things as I can.

Think happy Christmas thoughts! We're just a few months away...
