I selfishly spent money on myself today.
And with this post, Seawaters is poster #8000. For her efforts, she receives another, larger, more luxurious Lear jet!!!
Now this means we all travel in style and can get to each other's houses faster!
It must be from carrying all that money that I acted like I had!

wow...already more than 8000 replies to this thread......the year I joined mmc in 2008.....it was a little over 5000 posts in the countdown...and everyone thought it was insane......I wonder if we one day get up to 100,000 posts or more in this thread

Days to Christmas Day: 304
Just barely over half a week left now until the 300-day Christmas Day Window opens onto the familiar and much coveted landscape of double-200's territory.
Movin'! Movin'! Movin'!
The rain cleared by yesterday afternoon and although it remained chilly, it wasn't too bad for late February.
Should be dry again today with warmer temps.
We stand at 44 degrees, currently.

Thanks, Xmas. I really do love to write and I enjoyed looking "inside myself" to write about the candle. I would just love to be able to have something to make enough money right here so that I can stop transcribing for a living. I like transcription but my joints have had it after going a gazillion mild per hour nearly every day for the past 19 year...Plus the fact that I drive myself to be PERFECT in everything, which I never achieve...xo

Made & Coach, I dont follow NASCAR, but that was an awful wreck at Daytona yesterday. Lots of fans in the stands were injured, some seriously.
I had a pretty good day at Bernie's yesterday, I guess because I knew I wasn't missing anything with all the rain. Some accounts put us at over 4" of rain yesterday. That's a LOT for us! The storm drain in front of the store was clogged, and rain water was up into the parking lot and into the street. So, I turned into the mayor (and only city employee awake at that time of day) for about a half hour. I had to stack coke crates in the water to stand on while I poked at the drain with a broom handle. I finally got it opened and the water drained away. Success!
I'm having a great cup of coffee, and Lulu is sleeping beside me on the couch. I'll have to get the family up for church soon.
