I was hoping for a really good nights sleep but my ear started bugging me last night and kept me up most of the night. Waaaaa!

I spent most of the day in bed yesterday feeling sick. I am hoping to be up and around today but not sure how I am going to hold up not getting any sleep!

We will see what happens!

Have a great day everyone!

I am so sorry about your back. I hope you get well soon!!!
I hope Snowflake is feeling better today, too!

Funny you mention Barista Prima Coffeehouse Italian Roast! We have a Keurig Coffee Machine and have been trying many varieties of coffee. I finally decided that brand and flavor is my absolute favorite out of everything I have tried! There are probably hundred of flavors out there on their site and I think I have only tried 25 of them. Yes, Barista Prima Italian is my favorite one so far! We have the Platinum Plus Keurig Machine (5 settings) and I make that one on the 3rd setting, Wayne makes his on the 4th setting. I guess I like my coffee strong but I usually only drink one cup per day.
I like that one, too, but I've recently started buying Emeril's Big Easy Bold. Pretty good!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

The sun is finally shining here in south Georgia...yippee! It's a good thing, too. I have a busy few days ahead, setting up my rental signs for the annual Rattlesnake Roundup here in Claxton. Of course, now it's called the Rattlesnake and Wildlife Festival. It's still a big festival, but they no longer have snake-capture competitions. Local folks would go out and catch rattlesnakes and enter them in the roundup. There were prizes for the most snakes caught, the largest snake, etc. Then they would have venon-milking demonstrations. After that, the snakes would be sold to different buyers. After years of screaming about it, PETA finally won out. Now the state Wildlife Dept. brings a few animals to display. Everything else is just vendors selling leather belts, jewelry and fried Snickers. I guess they won't have fired Twinkies anymore, though!

My family is going on a mission trip with the church this weekend, and leaving me all alone! I hate being home alone. It's too quiet. I'll have all the TVs on while playing guitar with the Ipod player...LOL!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I have tried Emerils, it was just okay to me but my dad really likes it! We bought my parents a Keurig Platinum Plus for Christmas. Now my dad has a new hobby, shopping for coffee!!! He will browse Keurigs website all the time searching for different varieties. At the rate he is going he will probably try every variety they make within months. The cool part about that is he brings Wayne and I K-Cups to try out! I had told Wayne when we purchased the Keurig for my parents that my dad would be addicted to shopping for K-Cups. I knew my mom wouldn't mess with it and leave it up to him. I was right! =)

Prima Barista House Blend is good too!

Ohhh no.... Are you ok??? I hope nothing theres nothing serious out of place! Take some Ibuprofen, soak in a really hot tub for awhile and then stretch it out. Do this for a few days and hopefully it will feel a little better; that's what I do, and believe me, the hot water does wonder for sore muscles; it helps me out alot, if I'm feeling sore, tired or achy... I hope you feel better sooner rather that later; will be thinking about you!

Thanks for thinking of me, xmastidings!!
And thanks for the advice, I think I'll do that :)

You are in my thoughts, as well!!

Hope the rain goes away & you get some good snow.

Take good care, friend.

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, My Many Milestone-Minded Maniacs.

And what a day to let our latent maniacal tendencies escape as we consider this:
Days to the Season: 258
Days to Christmas Day: 300

Yes! There it is! And it's opened!!
Indeed.
The 300 day Window is now gaping wide and all that can be seen is 200-level figures.
(With the 300's now behind us, can the.....dare I say it?.....100's really be that far off??
<< shudder >>
I'm just not ready to think about that, yet.

Nice and sunny yesterday after a wet morning start. The high was not bad (around 60 or so).
It will be a bit cooler today but still dry.
We are at 40 degrees here right now.

Allrightaringo, Folks!
Time to have a Totally and Thoroughly Thrilling Thursday!
And with the magic of the Christmas Season as your inspiration, you can't help but have one, right?

Yay!!!!

Happy Milestone Day!!!!

Thanks for the reminder, MerryCarey!

Can't wait to check it out!!

My name was mentioned and it seems like a riddle to me too!!! Lol... I wrote to her but I think I need more coffee to figure it all out. Maybe that was just for Mark to figure out.

Thanks, CAH!!

And thanks xmastidings & CAH for the recommendation! Sounds delicious!!

Adrian has been drinking lots of coffee again (He goes in spurts) so we bought The Keurig filter cup, and some ground Gevalia coffee. It's really good!! I didn't know if I'd be impressed at first, but I like it!

We still buy the K-cups, but the ground coffee help save us money when we're drinking so much! ;)

Retire young sweetie and lets travel the world together!!!

You know I'm dreaming again but as I always say, the song by Bob Hope and Marilyn Maxwell, "It Doesn't Cost a Dime to Dream"! :D

The thought has crossed my mind.

Thinking of you SIT. Is there nothing that management can do? Are they willing to lose you? Why not put you at first and have at least someone happy and willing to work? Otherwise, they are in jeopardy of losing you and the others who seem to quit. What is the reason for others quitting so much? Seems like management needs to look closer at the situation.

The last person to quit was for personal reasons, had nothing to do with the job. Otherwise, they seem to hire people that just don't want to work. Some just find better jobs with more pay.

Well darn it. I just promised ChristmasHeart that I would move to canada to be her assistant so she had time to come back here. Maybe I can get hired on at your place too and Seawaters can just fly me back and forth.

Sounds good Made!!!!

what's up w/ all the turnover there? dude, you talk like you're ancient or something. we have 1 life to live, look around for something else in the meantime. the feeling of being some where you are unhappy is rough. I hope things work out for you Tex.

I agree 51 isn't ancient, I guess I am looking at being someplace long enough to build up a retirement. I do have a Monster.com account, I do check there from time to time. The thing is, I do like my job overall, which is another reason I don't want to leave.
