The roads were just wet when I came to work, but I'm worried about their deteriorating during the day. Cross your fingers that I may be able to get out of here early today before the roads are snow-covered and crowded. The temp is right around freezing, so while the falling snow makes a pretty picture, I'd rather be seeing it out of my own windows instead of the office's. (And the heat isn't working right here today.)

She is so precious. Baby now has a new "rest area"! She has been plopping down right in front of my computer so that I have to scroll up to be able to type replies or to read all the messages because she is in my way!

My doctor called in sick, so I saw another one. She issued a refill. I told her that only one tablet for breakthrough pain was not enough, but she did not want to give more than the original order. I just want to have enough for our trip to Madera. I told the doctor we were leaving in four days and staying for three weeks. When I came home I told Hubby what I told the doctor. He said, "No, we are leaving in three weeks, and staying for more than four days." Oh, well. In the words of Anna Roseanna Danna: "Nevermind!"

Fer sure! If I understand it correctly, to "call" someone on FaceTime, you use their email address. (The email address has to be the one associated with the user's FaceTime account.) Both participants would have to be online so the "callee" can receive the call. Between you, me, and CM3 (and anyone else here with an iPad and a FaceTime account), maybe we can figure it out. I don't think you can talk to more than one at a time on FaceTime. But using the Google+ "hangout," you can talk to multiple people.

I honestly don't think so. We've been so busy lately that most nights I don't get released until nearly 6 p.m. Later some nights. Others have less nerves about driving on snow than I do, so it isn't an issue for them. I will probably just have to cross my fingers that the worst snow holds off until I get home, suck it up, take it easy, and hope that some idiot in a hurry doesn't slide into me.
I miss snow days ...
