Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had to dash out yesterday afternoon to make a dentist appointment I'd forgotten. A good thing about small town life is, when you're late for your appointment, the dentist calls your cell to let you know he'll wait for you to get there. LOL

We went by Lowe's and they have to coolest riding mower now. It's shaped like a 4-wheeler, and you can easily disconnect the cutting deck to drive it around like a 4-wheeler...at 17 MPH! And you can drive on batteries, like a golf cart. It also has a small truck bed on back with a tailgate, and a 7100 watt generator to attach electric tools while out in the yard! I LOVE THIS MACHINE!

Just watching the Bruins game, it's been a lazy day here. Made my homemade goulash, nice and spicy tonight. Back to the grind tomorrow, it is also LC's 5th birthday, I can't believe my baby is going to be 5.

Just walked the dogs, it's a cold and breezy morning. Not too much planned for me today. Maybe a quick visit to my parents house and then a trip to Whole Foods.

One more season down, and closer to the fall (my favorite time of year). I love spring and summer, but they're just lead ins to the best season, in my opinion.

Good morning, friends! Happy first day of spring! How is everyone? All is well here. Just sitting here relaxing with all of you and drinking a cup of coffee. DH is working and the kids are at preschool and daycare.

Last night was so much fun. The girls had a blast. My friend's daughter is always a little bashful, but by the middle of dinner, she opened up and was started to be herself. They both had a lot of fun. She brought EA a gift for inviting her along. I thought that was so sweet. Little girls have such sweet hearts. She got her a Hello Kitty Ty Beanie Baby, that was dressed like a Easter Bunny - EA slept with it last night. :-D

What are everyone's plans for today? I don't have a lot to do. I am going to sweep the house, do some wash, and figure out what we're going to do for dinner.

Boy, go to the kitchen to bake a cheese cake and come back to 2 pages of posts!! Everyone must be out of bed now.

You do cheese cake too ??? Oh my !!!!! Do you do German Chocolate Cake with a polar bear on top ???? That would be amazing !!!! I just HAPPEN to know SOMEBODY who is nuts for Polar bears .....Wonder who that is ............hmmmmmm......??

Hi Gang... its been a long while since I have posted in here. Been in a kind of holiday funk for the past several months. Halloween, Christmas and Thanksgiving were good but felt like things were missed or rushed. Was not prepared for how busy we were with both kids and hubby involved in the midget football league. Our youngest doesnt want to play football this year so that will free up a good amount of time for me so that will allow for more time to enjoy the season. There was also some family drama that didnt help either.

This year WILL be better as I am already feeling it. A couple gift have already been bought, got more gift ideas written down and started planing for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Speaking of fun, you and your sisters, and Frosty's twins, did you and your sisters ever come up with "triple" the action when you were kids?

I hate to say this, but unless your sister takes charge of this kind of behavior, she will have major problems when the girls are teenagers. Do they act this way with their mom--not listening and being disrespectful? This is not "cute" behavior at all. At first, this kind of behavior is looked on as cute in really little kids (I never thought so, myself); but it becomes viewed as obnoxious as the kids get older. So sad. How do you deal with it (said Mrs. Buttinsky, the old retired school teacher and mom)?

They are terrible at home becaused they know my sister will just yell at them and then go back to what ever she is doing. She doesn't follow through on any of her threats.

If they don't listen when they are here, they get a warning and then they go sit on my bed until I decide they can come back out. They know that they can't get away with nearly as much here so they are better than they are at home.

Happy Wednesday ;-)

I have Christmas on the brain! And to reference my good friend Seawaters, "I'm spending money like I've got it!" (How did you phrase that again?!)

Anyways, I bought some Christmas dvd's last night, a few that I've seen, and a few I haven't, but that sound really heartwarming.

The ones I've seen being back so many memories.They are Spirit of Christmas- a classic! And Miracle At Christmas; Ebbie's Story.

My MIL, Dorothy's surgery went well & Adrian is with her at the hospital for the next few days. Thanks again for your prayers!

Nope. I jumped off as they started to fall.

I also took my moms brand new record player apart to see how it worked and broke the arm off of it in the process. I think I spent days in my bedroom after that one.

My sister just e-mailed me that my niece has been having major temper tantrums lately! ... and I'm driving half way (about 50 miles) to meet them for a girl's lunch on Saturday, LOL. Wish me luck!!
On a happy note, Alyssa is usually on her best behavior around me. We have a blast together!
