We are on our way to Chico for Hubby to get a new stereo installed for him to use the new iPod I got him for Christmas. Then we are going to Red Lobster for the lobsterfest. We have a $10 off coupon and I received three Red Lobster gift cards for Christmas. TTYWWR (Talk To You When We Return!)

Enjoy the lobsterfest!

Good morning everyone. My daughter is home from school again today, still not feeling well. I'm going to take her to the doctor in a little while. I'm sure everything is fine, but she her cough is worse so I just want them to take a listen. Not too much else going on for me. Just a few errands and chores. Hope everyone has a great day!

Sure hope she feels better soon.

Being pretty new to the forums, I'm not sure if this has ever been talked about before or not. If so, forgive me. But...

Has there ever been talk of a MMC convention somewhere? Wouldn't that be fun?! Man, we'd all have to save up for it, but it would be kind of neat.

It's been mentioned frequently, but it's never actually come to the planning stage. Various venues have been suggested, including Santa Claus, Indiana. Remind me of what some of the others were, everybody!

I hope she is feeling better.

Thank you.
I think she just realized its a Friday night because she is suddenly feeling "much better" and asked if it would be ok if she went out with her friends. She stayed home from school and went to the doctor today and she's coughing like crazy. Umm, NO it wouldn't be ok. Nice try though.

I know we have discussed Bronner's and I think the National Christmas Center has been mentioned before too.

The only problem with all of those is, they are at least an hour drive from the nearest major airport. So it might be better to say, plan the convention for Louisville and then plan a day trip or even an overnight trip to Santa Claus, Indiana. That way everyone could carpool or we could even rent a couple of passenger vans to get everyone there.

My sister went with her neighbor today to the corners office and she said it was just tragic. The corner told her that her husband had been driving in the slow lane of the interstate when a semi that had been sitting in the median decide to come back onto the road. The semi came out at a really slow speed and Scott tried to swerve but didn't have enough time and ran into the back of it. The worse part though was that he mostly likely would have survived if it hadn't taken so long to cut him out of his work van.

In other news, Boeing confirmed that they are going to lay off 800 employees starting in 2 weeks. My BIL has been there a little over 2 years so he's not sure how far up the chain he is. It doesn't make sense though. They say there's not enough work for them but yet they are on mandatory overtime and working weekends.

I am keeping Stephanie in my prayers xo Having dealt with the coroner's office here myself, I know how sad it is xo

Yes, we want an MMC "reunion" =)
Even though most of us haven't really met in person, we have a wonderful connection. That's a great idea made, to meet closer to an airport & road trip it the rest of the way!

That is heartbreaking. Praying for the family.

That's too bad, and how scary for the employees. Your BIL, sister and their family are in my prayers.

HomemakinGirl, so glad your daughter is feeling better! And that her doctor appointment went well. xx

That is awful. It makes me sick to see co's doing this...They are forcing employess to work like crazy..probably trying to instill fear and indimidation on what could happen if they "complain" then they still lose their jobs. I hope and pray this country and it's economy continue to get better.

Goodnight everyone! We are turning in early, the boys are fast asleep and Snowball has us worried all day he is lethargic..We will continue to monitor him overnight...maybe he just has a bug,but when he refuses food we know something is up...I hope everyone has a great and peaceful night,it seems a lot of us are facing a lot of heartache right now...I will keep all of yall in my prayers as usual!!!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a decent day here with a high in the low 40's and the sun shining. The forecast for Sunday is holding strong at 6 to 10 inches of snow though. I was really hoping that it would change by now. I don't have much going on today. Just some cleaning and I need to make out a grocery list. Then it's time for some IU basketball. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Spring?
