Christmas Countdown - 2013

Happy Rudolph Day!!!

I have been getting an email from my next door neighbor every 25th of the month with a countdown to Christmas. She has been doing this for over a year and I just love it!

Thanks for the messages and emails I have been getting with concern of my absence, just been busy is all! Everything is going really well except for waking up with a sore throat this morning! Ugh!

I think about you all daily and miss coming on here. Hopefully things will slow down just a bit and I can stay caught up on here.

If I missed any big news, send me a message. I know I won't have time to read everything I missed.

Happy Rudolph Day! We are having the most wonderful spring weather here; it started snowing last night, and should be snowing all day. It's beautiful outside!

I can't believe it's Holy Week already. It seems like I was just celebrating Valentine's Day. The year is really flying by.
 
This is what happens when it snows... I can't stop cooking! I've made waffles, chili, mac and cheese, homemade "peanutella," and am about to start some cookies and either pumpkin bread or hot cross buns... the kids LOVE days like today!

The old standby is Red Heart (for me, in the Super Saver size). It can be a little stiff to work with sometimes, but it's machine washable and dryable. You don't have to be particularly gentle with a Red Heart afghan. I also like the Caron One Pounders now and then.
 
good afternoon MMC friends....well its a beautiful afternoon here..the baltic chill has passed away..just finished cutting the grass...first cut this year!!!...going to relax listening christmas music and have a cuppa coffee and some cookies...have a happy rudolph day my friends...:celebrate::razz::merry:

I awoke at 5:30 and looked out the window and it was snowing then with about an inch on the ground and it has not stopped as of yet. It looks like about 3-4 inches out there right now (I'm at work) but it's that heavy wet snow where it is sticking to everything and the roads are either just wet or slushy. Somebody just told me that it's supposed to freeze tonight, but the weather forecasters are always wrong around here so, I'll believe it when I see it!

I hoping that it keeps on snowing all day and night, it will be our first of the year and most likely our last...

Good Morning SF; I'm at work listening Christmas music also, to Live 365 "Christmas Then & Some" to sort of put me in the Christmas spirit as well with the snow still falling outside....

Here it's Easter break and we are in the hospital.
My 9 year old got a kidney rupture yesterday (after a fall)
So he have to lay in bed here for days for the kidney to heal.
Hope the ultrasound in a couple of days is fine!
(so we can go home...)

I got a lot of PM's with "Snowbattle". What's that?
I felt very popular logging in here and got 9 new messages... LOL

- And my stepson got 'his family' for next school year in USA
He is going to North Carolina! We are so exited!!!

So what is going on here?
Anything new?

Good afternoon, everyone! How are you all? All is well here. It's still snowing...blah. I am really getting sick of the snow, but I guess it's to be expected. It's still March and we ALWAYS get snow here in March. We've had around 6 or 7 inches so far.

What is everyone up to today? Nothing really going on here. We took the kids for their Easter pictures earlier and ate some lunch, now DH and EA are grocery shopping and DS is napping. I figured I would get caught up with you guys.

Back to work for me tonight. I work the next 4 nights, then I will have a 3 day weekend for Easter. I am really looking forward to that. It will be nice to spend it with the family.

Well, I am off to read some of the posts. I hope you're all having a great day. I will talk to you all later on. God Bless and keep smiling!

Hope your son recovers fully, tell him we are praying for him.

Snow battle is a fun little game where we can toss virtual snowballs at each other. Go to the profile of the person you want to throw at, click on "snow/water battle" then click on the snowball and it get thrown at them!

News..snowing, baby on the way, new jobs, snowing, moving, illness, no more cancer spread , new vehicles, snowing, late spring, and so many little things that would take up to much room to recount! You will have to try and wade though some of the posts and check it out. Oh, did I say it is still snowing?

Glad you are back, hope you son has fun in NC!

I am doing a few things around the house while studying these codes that just do not seem to want to stick in my brain!
we need to take another family picture soon, it has been a few years. Used to do it every year when the kids were small.
