Thank you, I like how Charlie Brown and The Grinch have their elbows on the wall.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It looks like spring is finally gaining a grip here in central Indy and it's going to be another beautiful day here in central Indy. My day is going to be spent babysitting for a little while longer and then I have to do some more cleaning. I also need to go watch a Christmas video or two to get the image of snakes and spiders crawling all over my apartment out of my head now. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

I know there are some folks who don't really like kitties but I also know that nobody here could POSSIBLY hurt these babies....To me this is priceless and yes, I LOVE black kitties xoxo

Our Merlin is a jet black kitty, he has never been bad luck to us, he was found on the side of a road as a kitten, and we adopted him after his first home wasn't able to keep him and their other cat together. He wasn't supposed to have a long life, he has a half a tongue and the vet said he wouldn't be able to eat properly. He is 14 years old, at his highest his weight was 15 lbs. I think he taught himself to eat just fine.

And then, there was this one year when we cut down a live tree at a Christmas tree farm, brought it home, set it up and after it was in the house for a few hours and started heating up to room temperatures, the tree came alive.... Yes, a huge nest of spiders started to spread out everywhere's!!! I thought my wife was going to come out of her skin, yelling and running from the basement to upstairs...

That thing was so full of them, I had to take it outside and put a torch to it. Then go get another one from a different place. Yes, this is a true story.... needless to say, she wouldn't go near the tree all season; kept looking at it, the walls, the ceilings like it was going to come alive....
Spiders are the one thing that can make me squeal like a little girl. I don't know why; I've never been bitten or traumatized by a spider.

Ok. Enough true confessions for today. cheesy

CAH says to tell you all hi!!!!!!!

She was spending to much time on here and not enough time doing my dishes so I had to ban her until she gets them done. If she hurries, she may be back this afternoon. LOL!!!!!!

All man, when I used to put up real Christmas trees, I would have to wear a long sleeve shirt and gloves every time or else I would end up itching and scratching all night long. It was one of the reasons why we have the fake ones now......

It's all part of the experience. cheesy

That must have been tough to deal with, good thing for fake trees. I love my artificial trees.

When we use to get real trees we always got a Blue Spruce, those needles were sharp. We just loved the way they looked and smelled

Ahhh, that is creepy. Maybe we don't want to get a real tree this year.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I have to leave work early today to go to Jacob's track meet. Nancy has to stay home to take Elizabeth to dance class. I hate when we all go separate ways, but that's life with active kids, I guess.

I spent the afternoon yesterday on the phone with state DOT board members, trying to convince them to put a traffic light in Bellville. We have two caution lights at the highway intersections, but there are wrecks all the time, and speeders. I was surprised at how accommodating the DOT board members were, and I even got an email this morning from a state senator about it.

Flexin' my political muscles!!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

That is horrifying. I don't mean to change the subject but that reminds me of a story that was on our local news station just yesterday. A woman bought a bag of potpourri at a Homegoods. She saw that pieces of it had dropped to the floor from the dish she had put it in. She sifted her hand through the potpourri and found an 8 inch strip of fresh snake skin. She believes the snake was in the bag of potpourri and is now on the loose in her house!

Okay, these stories are making my skin crawl. cheesy

Good morning! Just walked the dogs, its another chilly day. And the wind makes it feel so much colder. I am a little headachey this morning. I am going to take something and lay down for a little while. Unfortunately I do have to go out today. I have some errands that I can't put off. My daughter is in a nursing program and will be graduating tomorrow night. I am going to the mall for an outfit to wear and to buy my daughter a gift. I am excited for her and so very proud. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Congrats to her!!!

Last test today...60 codes!
Leaving in a few min, and then do training again until 3pm. This is the last training session. Next Monday is our first cahiers meeting and we will get our schedules and uniforms.
have a great morning everyone!
