I'm like y'all, just at a loss over louann, and I was reading the posts here and the one thing that kept coming to mind was this poem. I have to jump off of here till later, my Husband is leaving out for work to Ks. thats pretty far from Louisiana! and he works 14 day gone and 14 days here, but the job is a blessing cause we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel....finally.

I love y'all and everyone is in my thoughts and prayers, I'll be back later!

Thats a beautiful poem.
It must be tough to be apart from your hubby for that long. Hugs to you.

Quiet day here, too. I was supposed to work a bit this afternoon, but was not up to the task as the glare from the computer screen was making my eyes water something awful. I'm going to have to put in a few hours in a bit, though. Spent most of the afternoon reading while Mouse slept on my lap. If you like to read I highly recommend the Mitford series of books by Jan Karon - they are absolutely wonderful! I'm on the last book of the series right now.

I think of Louann a lot more than I thought I did. In fact, I think of all of you all of the time in different situations but Louann stood out today, of course. Louann always mentioned how she would love to work with me at my job because of all the animals we have and customers bringing their dogs in with them. Every time someone brought a dog in today it would make me think of her. She said she always wanted to hug those dogs just like I do when they bring them.

We said a prayer at church today for Louann's family and friends (which includes all friends here at MMC).

thank you for remembering everyone in your prayers. I remember her talking about how much she would love to work with you! Now she can play with all the animals in heaven as much as she wants!

Hey everyone. Just wanted to stop in and say hello for the day. I've been reading posts and I've stop in several times today, but haven't really got a chance to reply to any, but know that I am thinking of you and especially, Louann and her family.

How was everyone's day? All is well here. As I know with everyone else, I thought of Louann a lot. Things throughout the day reminded me of her and being here with you guys truly helps. I thank you all so much for being here for me, as I will continue to be here for you, if you need a shoulder to lean on. That's what friends are for!

I hope you all have a great day tomorrow. I am signing off to go get ready for work. God Bless you all. Keep smiling - praying for all you, your families, and furbabies!
