It's raining here again today. We have warnings of flooding, and now a winter storm warning as well, starting tomorrow night & going into Thursday night.
I know there are different types of storms all across the country.
What is hitting your area?
Today, I need to walk Harlowe, go grocery shopping, and study.

Here, Here - Congrats....:thumbsup: Having a daughter is, and trust me here, soooooo much different then having a son! Speaking as a father, and as a father only, with a son you worry about one thing or another, and with a daughter you worry about every thing and another; :-? But it is sooo true, cleaning the ole shotgun once in awhile without saying a word, really does work; lol,....

Hello everyone! So far I have straightened up the house, started laundry, walked the dogs and I also went to the supermarket for a few things. It is beautiful out today, sunny and the temperature is supposed to reach 75 degrees. I have the windows open, its nice to let the fresh air in and hear the birds singing. I have the sliding back door open in the back and the cats are laying in front of it, enjoying the view. But it's going to go back down in to the 50's by Thursday. I have a few more chores to do and then I'm taking the dogs for another walk. I hope everyone has a great day!
ChristmasHeart, this is being done in memory of Luann. She had such a "heart" for all furbabies and this is how she ended her posts!

I agree, MC. I think that what Brent said about Christmas Together, we are all family here. I, too, would be willing to help. I know we would all want to make her feel loved and welcome.

I will be back on in a few weeks when I have time to post and actually read what everyone is saying. My grandma had a stroke and is in the hospital & I am just buried in schoolwork. Talk to you all then!

I did not have a chance to watch the news or weather while we were gone, but I did see last night after we got back home about the high winds in Los Angeles. We had to drive in high winds all the way home, the LA winds unbeknownst to us at the time. Our "cat sitter" said the winds were around 55 mph here, so damage was minimal. In addition to high temps, I hate high winds! When we went to dinner last night, I had to wear my sweatshirt jacket; and we have the heat on now! Weird weather!
Good thinking on adding those babies! I hope Wish is doing alright.
And I am praying for your grandma this morning. I hope she recovers quickly! Good luck in school.
I am tired just reading what you have done so far, LOL! I love it when it is just the right temp to have the windows open to hear the birds. We have an owl that I hear a lot, some doves, and some other spring birds. We used to have night herons, but those are absolutely horrible-sounding birds. They mess up trees and yards so badly that you cannot have your windows open. Many of the babies fall from the nests and do not make it so you have to take care of that. When trash is only collected once a week, you can imagine the smell. The noise of night heron is like a monkey, and you can have 20 or so nests in one good-sized tree!!!
