Not sure. The ones I've been to are usually the wake/visitation the night before, the funeral mass the following day, and then the burial/cremation ceremony at the cemetery.

I love the Waltons - I found one of their Christmas movies at Goodwill and have yet to watch - maybe later this week. Thank you for the reminder, track!

cooked dinner (the worst I ever prepared....usually it tastes nice...but I managed to put about a pound of salt in it....U get the picture....N A S T Y ).....Kandice told me she had a headache....i told her, that if she doesn´t like the taste of the food...it is alright...but she has to tell me the truth...and not make up a headache, just because she doesn´t want to eat......

well.....after almost 30minutes of screaming in pain and throwing up...she is finally sleeping...and I am quite sure...she indeed did not fake her headache, to prevent herself from eating the nasty dinner.....poor thing....

I think it is migraine again...she will probably sleep all through the night and all will be fine tomorrow.....but just in case...it would be nice if Y´all could say a prayer for little Kandice

oh the poor dear, give her a big hug from me when she is feeling better!
I ruined a turkey once by adding to much salt, you are so right, the taste is just plain nasty!

Good Morning Pallies!

Big rain comin'...But also a big day for our family as my Dad and other former township councilmen in the town we grew up in are honored for their service by a special guest who also happens to have been the president of my senior class in High School and a man who sorta runs this state...It will be exciting for us!

And as we stride a day closer to the grand holiday, may I say how much I'm enjoying things here and love the spirit?

my brain is on over load, so it shut down for awhile, when I woke up decided to do something else for awhile! LOL
Stepped outside and took this picture...

everything is coated in ice, looks really pretty. I hope it does not knock out the power because it is getting very windy now too.

that poor little guy. I feel bad for all of her fur kids, they must be so sad & confused. I've been praying for them every night. I will continue to pray more, really breaks my heart.

Rainy and cold here today. My basement is flooding - not yet high enough to use the sump pump, but I am keeping watch. The forecast is calling for light rain/drizzle/snow through Sunday. It is a mess outside - but greening up quite fast. Mouse woke me up at 4 - a nap sounds so good right now, but I will settle for some more coffee.

We have a robust north wind blowing right now. That is never a good sign. Here when that happens, tempers don't stay on an even keel. You can always see an increase in misbehavior in students for some reason. Plus, lots of pollen in the air. We are planning a quick run to Wal-Mart to get some Spanish peanuts. I want some with my diet Pepsi!
