Hey gang! We are in banquet season...16 hours today...probably more tomorrow....graduation Thursday night....

gonna be a long week....so I will be in and out....just watned to tell you hello and I will see you soon!

It is here too. We have the academic banquet tonight and the athletic banquet Thursday. Thankfully it is another year until Ethan graduates but we will attend this year's graduation, (along with most of the county.)

Another school year over. Sadly we only have 1 left for our son.

Busy as usual! I think after the end of next week things should slow down a bit and I can come visit more on here.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

When I got off work yesterday, I went home and finally had the chance to spray the yard for those crazy dandelions. Those things drive me bananas in my prized St. Augustine grass...grrrr. The stuff I spray (atrazine) has to be sprayed before the temps get over 80°, but I messed around and forgot. Luckily, we had lower temps the last couple days, so I had a narrow window of opportunity and I took advantage of it.

I know this is a wordy post about weeds, but I'm picky about my yard!

We're going out to Jacob's guitar lesson, then Wal-Mart.

GMy father is going to be evaluated tomorrow so a decision can be made about whether he is ready to go home or not. Keeping my fingers crossed, he really wants to go home.

Good morning all. Woke up to some beautiful frost again this morning. The nice weather is about to end though. We are forecast to hit 80 tomorrow.

We will be attending the high school academic banquet tonight. Ethan is a junior marshal so he has to be there early. We probably will not get home until around 10 but it is fun stuff.

Good morning, friends!!

It's going to be a hot day here!! High of 86 degrees!! Yesterday it barely made it to 60, and was damp & windy. Such strange weather lately!

How are you all today?

I am doing well

But I need to get studying & catch up on laundry. Also should probably take Harlowe for a walk before it gets too warm.

I wasn't able to snap a picture of my Mom opening up her necklace, unfortunately. Every time she'd start to open it, another person would show up at their house unexpectedly! Eventually, she just opened it while I was catching up with my nephew.

But, next time I see her, I will take a photo of her wearing it! She loved it, by the way!!

But, my Dad did get a picture of his girls at brunch:my Mom, sister, and niece =}

We are doing good. Everyone seems to be feeling better and back in our routine. Thanks for asking! I've seen some of the video of that crazy ice creeping across the ground up north. You didn't get any of that, did you?

My granddaughter sure knows how to make my day! I was cooking for my her and she asked, "what are you making"? I said, "macaroni and cheese". She ran up to me, gave me the biggest hug and said, "You're the best super hero in the whole world"!!! She didn't care about the other stuff I was making to go along with it, just the mac & cheese. Wow! I wonder what I will be when I make her a chocolate/banana/peanut butter smoothie!? This should be good! :lol: Those smoothies are her favorite!

Good Morning!
I feel like I am starting a new phase to the year today. My husband has been unwell for some time now and he has been off work recovering. Today is his first day back at work. His work has been very supportive. They are making him take it easy by returning to work on just a few hours this week and gradually build his hours back to full time over the next few weeks. . So this is very reassuring for us.

I am grateful for his improved health and I welcome the return of our previous routines. We are getting back to normality I have to admit it will be a change not having him around as much though

How is everybody?? I have a day of housework to catch up on today. I think I will have to split the chores across a couple days as I have my tornado of a toddler to look after LOL and I have to pick up my other son from school in a few hours.
