My weekend continues today, it is Victoria day here in Canada. Fireworks tonight, just have to decide which one we will go to.

hey everyone.....public holiday today in Deutschland....yesterday as well...Pentecost (Pfingsten in German)....the weather is not really nice...but Im still thinking of doing something with Kandice instead of just sitting at home....but we´ll see....I hope Y´all have a good day!!!!!

We just took our walk & she even met a new friend, named Casey. A sweet little Pekingese girl, their tails just wagged & wagged!!

Unfortunately, we have storms for the next 4 days, so hopefully she will develop a tolerance to them =]

Good morning, my friends!!

Happy Monday!

It is a cloudy day, we still have a flash flood watch throughout the evening. Looks like the rain will stick around awhile. The humidity is here as well.

I have some studying to do today, and lots of laundry to fold. Yay! Haha!!

Tomorrow, I am going to meet an old friend for lunch in Arcadia, which is about an hour away. It should be fun to catch up! I haven't seen her since our wedding.

Here is one pic I took last night. We were with our friends across the street (they have a storm shelter we use). Don't know if you can tell by the picture, but the clouds where swirling, and it looked pretty cool.

Glad you are all okay. Tornados are so scary. I hate the sirens going off; in our NC town, we had the sirens, but no shelters! Take care, my friend!

Hello everyone. Crazy Sunday yesterday! We spend some time in the tornado shelter with the sirens going off around us, but we were never in any real danger. The town my grandparents live in, Shawnee, was hit fairly hard in places but they are okay (the neighborhood behind them took a direct hit and one fellow was killed). The storms stayed south, east, and north of us, and we were in the middle zone that didn't have any tornadoes, thankfully! Just hail, strong winds, and crazy rain.

What's strange is the night before all these storms hit, my wife and I found our VHS tape of the footage I took after a massive tornado we had back in 1999. We watched that Saturday and showed the kids.

And with this post, Xmas is poster #20,000. For his efforts and on behalf of my trip to Disneyland, he receives a set of Mickey Mouse ears. Granted, they have the wrong name embroidered on them, but hey, even Mickey makes a mistake now and then!!! LOL!

I have to stop waking up at 4am! I think I will head up early tonight and get some peaceful reading done. I am currently reading stores by Stuart McLean called the Vinyl Cafe...they are so funny! I have an autographed book from him too.

After reading the store's motto (CBC Radio presents the stories and misadventures of Dave, the owner of the "Vinyl Cafe", the world's smallest record store, where the motto is "We may not be big, but we're small.") I just had to have it!!! This cracked me up. Speaking of "cracked me up," where is RJD? I haven't "seen" him for a while!

I am very anxious to catch up on here but we have a new family member that I am very busy with. We got a young dog and I cannot wait to share the story with you on how we rescued it. We are trying to come up with a name and my granddaughter said, "How about Mr's Claus"?! Very tempting but still thinking it over since we have a few names to consider. I just had to share that with you real quick. I just love how Christmas is always on the mind of a 3 1/2 year old!

Good morning, MMC!

A very Happy Monday to you!!! I love Mondays - so many good things happen on this day. Already I was hugged by my cat, picked out a new book to read, and, best of all, found a Christmas ornament on my desk as I was clearing it off. I just know the rest of the day will only get better - but, seriously, it will be hard to top the hug!!

I read there could be some horrible storms today - please be safe, everyone! We could get some thunderstorms later this afternoon - my garden needs watering so I am hoping for a nice soaking rain.

Again, be safe! And MERRY, too!!!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a miserable day hear with a high of 90 and high humidity. Someone shoot me now!! So I'm been up for a while trying to get all of my laundry and cleaning done before it gets to hot. The rest of today will be spent in front of the air conditioner working on the computer and maybe watching a Christmas movie. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!
