AS far as Tornado's go, we are actually below the average this year.
legal?? hmmm, I never asked, it was ok in the parade! Is that street legal in Canada?
If it is I want to move there now!!!! cheesy
The weather here ended up just being heavy rain so all is good. I have been super busy since I was on here last and just about to get to bed.
Have Merry Dreams everyone!
Fun is not allowed where I work. cheesy
My brother-in-law works there, and last week he got in trouble for helping a customer too long. Can you believe that? We wonder why customer service is going downhill, he helps a customer for 5 minutes, and management tells him not to do that. The customer was asking him questions about food planning for a cookout.
All is quiet now, but it was quite rumbly for a while earlier. Since the storms have moved through the temperature has dropped over 30 degrees, it feels so nice now. The boys are still having a very hard time during thunderstorms, they were so, and still are so traumatized by the tornado 2 years ago. Every little noise frightens them, and they freaked out when I went outside to look at the clouds for a moment. This will take years for them to get over, if they ever can.
Good evening!
I am back from the prom meeting and I am going to try and go to sleep early. I have been so tired lately. I made an appointment to have blood work and a physical because I am overdue. I couldn't get in until the first week of June, so I will have to wait a little while longer. I'm sure everything is fine, it's probably just lack if sleep.
Anyway, just wanted to pop in and let everyone know I was thinking about them. I hope all is well and I am sending prayers to all that need them!

they can get over it, it will take time and gentle encouragement and lots of talking maybe even some counseling, but it can be overcome. You will have to keep reminding them that what happened was scary and bad, but that was then and is in the past. Help them see the beauty that can come with storms, lightening patterns, cloud shapes, noises. etc. Start teaching them about these things and hlep them understand it all. You love them so much and you will all get over this. All is quiet now, but it was quite rumbly for a while earlier. We had a crazy storm here earlier in the evening ... Thunder, lightning, and about ten minutes of pea-sized hail. I got some video of it. No damage that I know of, but it was something to see. It had been over 80F earlier in the day, but by the time I left the office it had fallen into the 60s. Crazy day, weather-wise.
Had some discouraging personal news today. Time to sleep on it and see how it looks in the morning.
I hope everyone is out from under the threat of violent weather now.
Good night, Christmas friends.
