There is a snake in my attic! I always thought that if one got into the house it would be in the basement as it has a dirt floor. Not upstairs!!! I walked right by it and didn't see it - heard a weird noise and watched it slowly slither over to a dark area by the chimney. I was literally shaking I was so scared. My attic is unfinished and full of bags, boxes and totes. So many places for it to hide. Not happy!!!!

I'd be moving out!!!!! LOL!!!!

Umm. So where are you going to sleep tonight?!

That would be the easiest thing to do. Unfortunately I can't even afford to hire someone to remove it for me. Quite the predicament!

Oh no! I'm sorry Meceka, and praying for you. I'm terrified of snakes, so I understand why this is a big deal! I looked at the location in your profile and it said Central Michigan. I didn't know y'all had many snakes around there!

There are a lot of varieties out here. These are the ones I've identified that I've seen on the property: garter, blue racer, queen, milk, and green. There are two I haven't been able to identify and that includes the one upstairs.

not being much help am I? Sorry, I am not fond of snakes, mice or spiders.
I just read this idea you can try..
Catch the snake with a glue trap. If you suspect there may be a snake in your attic, garage, basement or elsewhere in your house, lay out glue traps along the walls in these areas. Snakes crawl over the traps and get stuck

I still can't get caught up, still about 13 pages to go!!!! I've only had about 9 hours of sleep total over the last 2 days. Just watching "Best In Show" it is a hilarious movie if you like "mockumentary" style movies. My pillow is calling me.
