Our priest visiting from Israel took six of us to dinner tonight to Roundtable. We had such a good time. We acted as his tutors to help him with his English. He showed us some personal pictures of Pope Benedict and Pope Francis. It was almost phenomenal to see these. One showed Pope Benedict with four St. Bernards that were so cute, even though he is more of a cat person. What fun to learn something personal!

I survived my first ever jury duty service!! I was summoned 2x when I lived in Philadelphia but I was excused for being a stay at home mom. It was a murder trial and I wasn't chosen! I am very thankful today!

All I could think about was - how can I focus on a trial if I'll be thinking about being HALF WAY TO CHRISTMAS tomorrow?!?!

And for those of you with little ones to shop for - Target's toy clearance began early this year! Lots of toys are 30% off. They go up to 50% and then 70% off. I usually am done most of my toy shopping in July!

Good morning everyone,

I've been away for about a week (I flew off to San Antonio, Texas) to go see my son graduate from the Air Force bootcamp... Well, he did it, YEA....and he's now an Airman in the US Airforce.

After they graduated, they have to all stand still untill someone from their family "taps them out", (places a hand on them and then they can move...) Mom was the one to do so and I captured the moment on film, by reaching over top of other people to take the picture and it turned out perfectly. He was all teared up to see us, during the course of the day both him and I were able to walk along sharing with each other both of our experiences from going to bootcamp in the military.

It was wonderful to see him again and we were able to spend 3 days with him while we were there on base. We got to watch them drill, visit his barracks, see what he did, how he did things and meet other families and Airmen; it was a wonderful experience. Today he will fly home to spend time with us before he checks into his base; mom, grandmom and my daughter are picking him up at the airport right about now....

Me, I'm back at work and glad that for awhile everyone is back home (including myself); "There's no place like home, There's no place like home.....)!

As promised...in honor of it being a milestone week, and being six months from today until Santa takes flight once again...here are some pictures from today's trip to Hobby Lobby.

Good evening,

I have such a headache from watching the game, I am pretty sure it is a stress headache from it being such a close game. I am still in shock from that last 90 seconds. It was a great series, and there were 28 other teams that wish they could have made it as far as my Bruins. It was a fun ride, and there are less than 90 days until training camp opens. cheesy

Have a good night, as I lick my wounds from a tough loss.

Good Morning! Although I think by the time most of you see this it will be afternoon for me LOL!

Well there is a break in the grey weather so far today. Blue skies and sunshine. My eldest seems a little better but not enough to go to school, it's only a summer bug though so nothing to worry about. I'm kinda thinking it's only a matter of time my youngest catches the bug too Fingers crossed he doesn't though.

As for me I am having alot of better days now, I have some bloodtests on Friday so I'll know where things are early next week.

Not much sleep last night , my youngest was up at 3AM and wouldn't go back to bed! Where is Binger with coffee when you need him lol!!

Oh by the way BEST OF LUCK RYAN with your interview today, praying for a positive outcome for you!

Going to be out most of the day. Mom has doc appointment in another town. We are going to a few thrift stores first of course. Also having lunch at my brothers place and stopping in to see another brother as him and his wife are leaving for Calgary on Friday to visit their kids and help out with the flood victims. It is such a mess there right now.
