Good evening,
I am finding it so hard to make time for some MMC the last few days, and when there are nearly 1000 posts in a 3 day stretch getting caught up is really tough.
The taste test at Friendly's was very cool, we got to sample, judge, and give feedback on 15 new breakfast items they are wanting to rollout, only 4 will make the cut so we sat at tables and they came out with things like; Bananas Foster pancakes, red velvet waffles, Brioche French Toast, French toast with Nutella and bananas, eggs benedict, a fruit cup, a Breakfast Fribble (like a smoothie), Philly steak, egg and cheese on an everything bagel, a brand new fresh squeezed OJ, Bavarian cream stuffed pancakes, and a few more I cannot recall. some of the food was really good, (red velvet waffles, Philly bagel, Brioche french toast) Some was pretty bad, (Bavarian cream pancakes, Nutella French toast) but we used an Ipod to record our thoughts on appearance, taste, size, etc...It took 2 hours and we will now be doing this once or twice a year. We really had fun, they also asked us what else they should do to make it even better. Then as a gift for doing it we received $70 each. My wife and then went to the mall and had to check out Hallmark, I was playing with all the buttons on the ornaments, the only problem is they had the ornament display hidden in the back of the store because of people complaining about the Christmas stuff in the front of the store in July. We had a great night an topped it off by going out to On The Border for dinner at 9pm, that meal was great, I haven't had a good Mexican meal in a few years.
I am exhausted, back to work tomorrow, I am lucky I work in a cooler because this heat has been unbearable all week.
