Days to the Season: 100
Days to Christmas Day: 142

My goodness. Double-digits to the Season tomorrow.
And just about time for things to start moving into high gear. We'll be in the thick of things before you know it!

A light rain yesterday but all in all, another real nice day for early August.
We are looking for a dry one today.
Currently, we record 67 degrees here to start the new week.

Good evening!
Well things are finally winding down here. My husband started to install the wood floor. He started late because he was doing other things but he got part of the kitchen done. He still has a lot of work ahead of him. He has to install it in the kitchen, dining room, living room, den and a hallway. It looks good, I will post a picture when he makes some more progress. He's had enough for today and is cleaning up now. He'll do some more tomorrow after work. He smashed his finger earlier, its so swollen. The poor thing.
Not too much else going on here. My oldest is staying in tonight, she worked a 10 hour shift and is tired. She is watching a movie with her boyfriend right now. They were apart all of last year because he went away to a college in Florida. But he is back home to stay, he is going to transfer to a school here on the island. We like him a lot, I'm happy for them. My other two are out and about. Hopefully it won't be too late of a night.
I hope everyone enjoyed their Sunday and are having a good night!

he has no one to help him? When my sister put a new floor in their place it took 4 guys working together with her husband. There is so much work involved I cannot imagine one person doing all that alone. Hope his finger feels better quick.

you guys crack me up!!!. im shutting up shop early today cos the weather is so bad its pointless being open! Home and Christmas film on... just to decide which one now hmmmmm. watched its a wonderfu;l life the other night, no matter how many times i watch it, each time a different part of it strikes me. proper classic films, they don't make them like they used too eh?!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a decent day here with a high around 80. The rest of the week is up in the air. I have 1 tv station that I trust for weather and one local storm chasing group. They usually agree on everything. Well the tv station has us at almost 90 the rest of the week and the storm chasing group has us around 80. So I guess I will plan for mid 80's. Not much on the agenda for today. Just some work on the computer. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning folks. I can't believe it's only 100 days until the Season! And since I kick off the Christmas season the day after Halloween, it's only 87 days until then! :???:
Hope you all are doing well this morning and have a great day. This is going to be a busy week for me, work wise. It's also going to be a scorcher! It's supposed to be 100 today and 102 tomorrow. Thursday and Friday we "cool" down with a high of only 90...better get out the heavy coat for those days or I'll catch a chill. cheesy

Good Morning Folk. WOW 100 Days to the season kicks it up a notch. So hope everyone is doing swell for a Monday. It appears in TN all the school have not officially started so time to bang on the stores to tear down all the school supplies and put up fall and Halloween stuff.


Just a quick update the real Farmers Almanac wont be out for about 2 weeks. However I did notice that Harris Farmers Alanac for 2014 was out this weekend and as a collector of stuff had to nab one.
