Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a hot stormy day here in central Indy with a high in the mid 80's. I have some stuff to do around the apartment and then I'm going to try to do some more Christmas shopping online. I hope everyone is having a Great Day!!!!!!

Good Morning!

Thank you for all the birthday wishes for my son, very sweet! I am on the second batch of laundry and just made the children breakfast. I'm taking them to the shops to pick up a few biits and then to the park. Once I get back I have a few chores and presents to wrap for tomorrow.

Over the weekend I was flipping through channels on the tele and stumbled on the video ''Do they know it's Christmas!! '' It was one of the music channels doing a countdown of greatest hits. It was a nice little christmas injection into my day!

One of the local shops have just put out some more christmas candles so I am going to grab a couple today. I have also bought the spray paint for decorating my pine cones. I managed to collect quite a few cones over the weeks so I'm all set!

I hope you all are enjoying the last few weeks of summer! It's the second week into summer school holidays here and I am shattered My sons are staying up later and yet still getting up earlier! I don't know where they are getting the eneergy! The weather is no where near as warm as it has been and last night it was quite chilly!

Ok well Happy Pines Day everyone! Save me a seat !

I am looking forward to my girls going back to school, I need my normal routine back. They have been out late every night and I am exhausted.

Lots of Christmas Stock I had put as a late September delievery is going to have to arrive alot sooner as I have nearly sold out of all my christmas stock which is not clever for a Christmas Shop!!!. Buyers are buying and buying early fingers crossed for a good season!!!

No rash this morning though!!!!! I scrubbed myself down with rubbing alcohol when I got home last night and then I did another round later last night. So I don't know if it was all in my head last night or if I just got it cleaned off of me quick enough.

Good morning!!! Well, there is still a black lab in our garage! Really hoping to find a home for her....VERY soon!!! She is so sweet, and strong, and crazy! Lol!

Went out for dinner & drinks with girlfriends last night to celebrate a birthday. Had a great time - I'm tired today! I was the driver, so I'm sure I have more energy today than the other 3 girls. Ha ha!!

Tonight I have to help my "old" neighbor (I'm not calling her old, she's just not my nieghbor anymore...LOL) cut nylon for making scrubbies. We are going to do this in my parents basement - Mom will help too! BUT after that I will be at the PINES!!! :grin: Tomorrow night my family is taking convertibles out to eat to listen to a local guy playing music on the patio at this restaurant. Busy week!! It's going to be Friday before I know it. Nothing is getting done at home this week. EEK!!!

I did some searching online this morning, and Kmart has their Halloween and Christmas decor for sale online, Walmart only has their Halloween stuff posted. I can't wait to see the stuff in stores, I think I head to Kmart almost everyday I have off during November & December to look at their stuff.
I am sure today is going to be a long day.

I love when my girls are all home. But they are all teenagers now and they stay out late! I try to stay awake until I know that they are all in for the night, safe and sound. Thats why I look forward to the structure and routine of the school year. The sleep deprivation is catching up with me this summer!

Just like you I tend to keep a look out and it bug the wife lots that i have to always stop at stores and peek around to see even if one little slight change is made. Hope you have a great day today.
