Hello everyone! The morning is flying by. I just dropped my daughter off at work and walked the dogs. I also straightened up the house, changed all of the sheets and started laundry. I have a couple of errands to run but other than that there isn't much going on. My oldest also has work in a little while. The middle one has off today so I will probably do something with her. She mentioned that she wanted to go to Sephora so maybe I will take her there to buy some new makeup. My girls love that store. I need another cup of coffee before I do anything else!

She had a good day. There are a lot of other kids from our town that work in the store so it was nice for her to see familiar faces. Thank you for asking!

It looks like they all fell apart before they got to us, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Good morning!!! Well, there is still a black lab in our garage! Really hoping to find a home for her....VERY soon!!! She is so sweet, and strong, and crazy! Lol!

Went out for dinner & drinks with girlfriends last night to celebrate a birthday. Had a great time - I'm tired today! I was the driver, so I'm sure I have more energy today than the other 3 girls. Ha ha!!

Tonight I have to help my "old" neighbor (I'm not calling her old, she's just not my nieghbor anymore...LOL) cut nylon for making scrubbies. We are going to do this in my parents basement - Mom will help too! BUT after that I will be at the PINES!!! :grin: Tomorrow night my family is taking convertibles out to eat to listen to a local guy playing music on the patio at this restaurant. Busy week!! It's going to be Friday before I know it. Nothing is getting done at home this week. EEK!!!

I just received a call and have a job interview today at 3:00! I was already taking half a day off work to go see my wife's new class room and help with my son's doctor's appointment (trying to get the all clear from his broken collar bone he got in July). It's a short notice and they said the vacancy came up unexpectedly and asked if I would be interested in still interviewing. Prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning,

Counting down the minutes before heading to work, I have my usual bad case of Idontwannagoitis, but I only have 9 more working days until vacation. I did some searching online this morning, and Kmart has their Halloween and Christmas decor for sale online, Walmart only has their Halloween stuff posted. I can't wait to see the stuff in stores, I think I head to Kmart almost everyday I have off during November & December to look at their stuff.
I am sure today is going to be a long day.

So sorry to hear that, Track. I can only imagine how you feel. I truly hope you find something soon, especially with Durtsche Post. I bet that would be a great job!

One not too cool thing is....my firm is closing so next tomorrow will be my last day of work.....meaning that I will have to start applying for jobs and on.....a shame since I really liked delivering mail.....I will try to apply for some halfday office jobs now and see what I can get....if it doesn´t work out...then I will try to get into official German Mailservice....called the Deutsche Post

Happy Anniversary, Undrtakr! How old is William now? Good luck on the renovations. Hubby is doing the same. It seems we have to get permit after permit! It is almost driving us crazy!

Good morning everyone! Holy cow I have today off! Work gave us the day off due to the civic holiday. Just relaxing and making bacon and toast for breakfast. Ash (My Wife) and William (My Son) are outside playing in the backyard. Yesterday was our 6 year Wedding Anniversary! Yay! We are currently renovating parts of the house. I swear monkeys build this place. Still going to get a deck and that will be sometime this month. I can't wait to sit outside on the cool fall days. Speaking of that, next month, September 22nd is the first day of fall! Coming fast, but not fast enough for my liking. At least the weather has taken a turn. Its in the low 60-70s all this week. Some rain but hey, Ill take it. Better then hot weather. Still keeping my peepers out for holiday stuff too. Well better get going. Have a Merry day today everyone!

Hubby is the same. He built the addition to the garage by himself. He works so hard. We are having something like Italian tile put down in the kitchen with some carpeting in the den area.

I agree with you Star, it is a lot of work for one person. Thats why its taking so long to finish. He has plenty of people he could ask to help him, but he likes to work alone. I don't know why!!
