I have not seen this movie yet....would You guys recommend it?
just watching a documentary about the "Drittes Reich"....it shows plenty videos......horrible....it always gives me an almost numb feeling....horrible....even tho I know what happened....it still always shocks me terribly
We got the new Autumn Splendor collection Ripe Currant, Kitchen Spice, Farmers Market and a, Everyday Ceramic Leaf and Berry electric w/LED warmer....
Your not going to believe this, but they were starting to put out their Christmas scents as well.... I was loving it! :smile:

Good evening, MMC!
Last night's sky watching yielded zero shooting stars and it looks like tonight's total will be zero, too, as it is very overcast right now. There are thunderstorms in the forecast for later tonight/early morning. I started Gone Girl this morning and am almost a third of the way through. The library only had the large print edition - so much easier to read! Not much else is going on here - just did a lot of chores when I wasn't reading or being harassed by Palmer :lol: . My tomatoes are starting to ripen - finally! The apples, peaches and pears will be ready in a week or so - I will be so busy in the next weeks with canning and prepping for freezing. Grapes will be ready early next month - there are more this year than any year I can recall! I don't have the set-up to make wine so I am going to make grape ketchup - a recipe I found in an older cookbook. Sounds interesting!

It is easier to laugh about it now, but waking up to it was a little dismaying. It forced us to upgrade her phone which we needed.
The wings were AWESOME, nice and spicy, I really don't make them enough. (Made, I could make you some Buffalo chicken tenderloins instead) The best thing about the wings is they are not deep fried so they are a little healthier for you.
Congrats on the new TV!!! I hope you enjoy your movies on it!
Someday we will take the plunge into HDTV, our TV's still have tubes.

I am going to hit the hay early. I have to get up very early tomorrow morning, before sunrise. Need to be on the road by 6:00 AM. Heading to eat Edina, Minnesota (Minneapolis) for classes.

I also programmed the hands free link in my car to my new cell phone number!! I am so proud of myself, mostly because I'm not a techie.. I just watched a YouTube video and figured it out. It makes me feel so much better, since I'll be traveling a lot in the future.

WOW! Ten years!
I remember we went to go see it when it was in the theater, but it was sold out. We went and saw Master & Commander instead, which was a really good movie.
I unfortunately didn't like Elf too much until a few years ago. I really like it now, but the Mrs. still hates it.
