We had 81 in my senior class. The school turned 100 years old in 2012. At the rate it's going, DD will have 200+ in her senior class---9 years to go!

I haven't posted in a while, trying to get back to normal here. Two weeks ago, the day before school started, DH had a wreck on his way to work. A girl pulled out in front of him, in the rain, & he couldn't stop. His 18 year old truck was totalled. He was blessed to have only a few cuts & bruises. It could have been so much worse. They managed to miss hitting a stop sign, guardrail, & power pole, landing in a grassy ditch. DH bummed a ride to work from a neighbor/co-worker for two weeks, got tired of waiting on the insurance company, and bought a new truck on Saturday.

We are just thankful that everyone is okay. Truck was replaced, but DH couldn't be replaced. We hate that we now have two vehicle payments, but we are glad that we are still able to take the two trips we already had planned & paid for on Labor Day weekend & Fall Break. We will be extra thankful to be there this year!

Thank goodness your DH is ok. I hope things settle down for you all soon.

Good afternoon.
I woke up with a sick daughter this morning. Sat in the doctors office for a couple of hours. Went back and forth to the pharmacy for a prescription. Had to cancel my daughters driving lesson and beauty parlor appointment because she is sick. She didn't show up to work today and I realized we should get a doctors note for her to bring to her manager so I just ran back to the office and got that. Ran a couple of other errands on my way home. I didn't do any chores or laundry yet. Whew! It's just one of those days. I am having a much needed cup of coffee right now and thought I would pop in to say hello!

Not much planned for tonight. Trying to figure out what we're going to do for dinner. Also doing some things around the house. It seems never ending! Working tonight too...other than that, that is it. What are your plans?

I know what you mean, housework is unending! Once ''domestic rush hour'' was over I was happy to just put my legs up for a bit. I watched the 1st episode of a new TV series called Under The Dome and then I read for a bit. Hope you had a goodnight at work.

Started a new book yesterday - Skipping
Christmas by John Grisham. The movie, Christmas With the Kranks is based on the book. It's very good so far!

I didn't know it was based on a book and written by John Grisham!!

Tummy is still not feeling 100% so I will say good night, all. TTYT!

Parents donated cakes, tarts and money so I helped building up and kinda decorating the. Venue....so exiting to see all the little and their families so exited....just a year ago we felt the same way.....beautidlful

So it's almost 4:00 in the morning and I woke up at three and haven't been able to sleep. I feel sick like I have a cold but don't want to call into work...no one would believe me since I've turned in my two week notice! Some luck!

Oh no that's unfortunate! Anyway if you really can't make it in, don't force yourself. I am sure they will understand. Maybe if you go in you can ask to leave early ....

I'd call in. You don't want to make it worse, or infect anyone else. Plus, you need your rest.
If they know you, they won't question it!

Oh, I'm really sorry to hear you are not well. I hate the feeling of being sick.

Lots of green tea with lemon and honey, sugar-coated ginger pieces, and garlic sandwich always come handy to beat those microbes!

Good morning!
Well it looks like it will be another busy day today. My youngest had to start work at 6:00 a.m. this morning so I woke up with her at 5:00 to get ready to drive her in. And my oldest has a neurologist appointment in a little while. Then we will go straight to the Verizon store to get her a new Iphone. She dropped her phone last night and it isn't working right. Thankfully she is due for an upgrade. I'm hoping we are in and out of there because she also has to go in to work later. Other than that, typical day of chores and errands for me. Hopefully nothing else will come up! It really has been so hectic lately. I'm going to finish my coffee and then take a walk with the dogs. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
