Morning all!! Hope this finds everyone well! A week to go until the kids are back at school!! These hols seem to have flown by, I had all sorts of plans to meet up with other mums and kiddies and I havent managed any meet ups!!

The hubby is at hospital this afternoon, he had a MRI scan on his knee about 4 weeks ago now so going for the results later today!! Been told worse case senario is a ligament reconstruction?? think thats what the consultant said anyway! Hopefully it wont be as bad as that and its something they can treat easier!!

119 days to go!! The season will be upon us in no time!! and I for one am soooo ready for it lol!!!!

Too quick and that was the last bank holiday till christmas! We went to the one in South Lakes. It was really good!

We are having a family weekend this weekend, not sure whether to go to yorkshire wildlife park or chester zoo on saturday! then we promised the girls we would go to The Deep in Hull on sunday! will be my first weekend off this month so making the most of it! xx

Sounds like a lovely weekend planned there! The sun and warmth are back so hopefully it will last till the weekend for you. Chester is a wonderful zoo, we went over Spring break. I have never been to the yorkshire park or The Deep, I'll have to check those out sometime. Have fun!

Our weekend at the lake was great. The weather was perfect. It was nice to see so many boats on the water again. Our lake has had hard times the last couple years - 1st of all- economy, & then it was hit with algae problems a couple years ago. But boat traffic seems to be picking up again. It's nice to see - especially for the businesses around the lake! We were able to put 35 miles on our bicycles! FUN! Your movie night sounds great! Fun for all!! :grin:

Hello all. I took lunch up to my wife and are with her. I went to the bank, Hobby Lobby, the gym, my insurance agents office and now back home. Busy but enjoying just not being at work! Hope y'all have a great afternoon!

Hmm, The person who has really picked it up this year is Snowflake. She has 4,169 posts so far this year. Last year she only had 1,051.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's a nice day today; I have all my windows open with a breeze blowing through. I have to use a lot of paperweights, but it's worth it!

I had a hectic weekend working on my part-time business, but I think I'm caught up for a couple weeks. I came to work this morning hoping for a break, but then two consulting engineers on two different jobs called to drop monkey-wrenches in my two largest, current jobs. No offense to you, Xmastidings, but consulting engineers drive me bananas! LOL

It's fun to watch the progress of all the kids on here. Man, we have a large family!!!

My older boy starts 3rd grade Wednesday, and my youngest starts kindergarten next Wednesday! I can't believe how fast they are growing.

And we have leftover Philly cheese steaks and fruit salad!

I have a left over Chicken breast and cauliflower with cheese sauce if you want some!!!

We were out on vacation for a week, then it took me a week to get caught up afterwards, so I haven't been to Jim's shop in a couple weeks. He says we'll be able to crank the engine soon, even though it doesn't have any tires...or exhaust...or seats...or a steering wheel LOL!

I think you are right, Xmas. She would have kept us on our toes.

I miss her so much. I think of how we would be entering her favorite time of year so soon, Christween, and how much she enjoyed it.

She probably would have been over 10,000 by now, and everyone elses posts would probably even higher also.
