A bit warmer here yesterday but still very nice indeed for this time of the year (or ANY time of the year, really).
Now today is supposed to be a different story with a high of about 90 and no doubt higher humidity.
(Thought it was too good to last. Oh, well.)
Currently, we show 66 degrees here in the capital city of the great state of North Carolina.

I hope the cooler summer temps we have had this summer are indicative of colder temps for fall and winter. I hope it means we may get some snow!

Good Monday evening everyone! It's late August and I guess I am coming out of summer hibernation as September arrives this weekend! We are so close to that magical time of year we all long for. I just read the Farmer Almanac winter forecast and they are "usually" correct for the most part and they are predicting a cold snowy winter for mid atlantic states and New England and Great Lakes area..us in the inner Mt west about average which is still a lot of freakin snow! Anyhow I hope everyone is doing good. I know I have a lot to catch up on here so I will get busy! Have a great night I will be popping in and out the rest of the night!

We did enjoy it, Holiday! I love it when a meal comes together so quickly and tastes so good! We had some leftover fruit that Hubby will use to make some fruit smoothies in the Vitamix machine. He does a great job on those!

Well I wasn't hungry until I read this!!! Enjoy!!!!

I forgot to mention that I also bought blackberries for the salad. They were huge and so, so sweet! Yummy! We are so glad that CAH told us about the Vitamix!

Morning all!! Hope this finds everyone well! A week to go until the kids are back at school!! These hols seem to have flown by, I had all sorts of plans to meet up with other mums and kiddies and I havent managed any meet ups!!

The hubby is at hospital this afternoon, he had a MRI scan on his knee about 4 weeks ago now so going for the results later today!! Been told worse case senario is a ligament reconstruction?? think thats what the consultant said anyway! Hopefully it wont be as bad as that and its something they can treat easier!!

119 days to go!! The season will be upon us in no time!! and I for one am soooo ready for it lol!!!!

Good Morning!
How is everyone and how was your weekend?

It was a three day weekend here I can't believe how quickly it went by. On saturday we visited a wild animal park. The park is really interactive and you can get quite close to the animals. Needless to say we really enjoyed our vsit! There were Lemurs and Monkeys roaming about.

On Sunday we decided to go to car racing instead of Whitby. It was the Gold Cup and there was also a couple tours and demonstrations so it was a fun event. In a male dominated house like ours I've gotten used to the boys getting their way lol.

Yesterday we just had an easy day. We watched the new GI Joe and played board games and recovered from a very busy weekend.

I doubt I will be able to catch up on all that I have missed on here over the last three days! I hope I haven't missed anything important. I hope everyone is doing well and having a great start to the week!

EA does the ABCmouse here at home, when she isn't at Pre-K and she loves it. She does very well with it. When DS is another year older, I will get him into as well. I think it's worth the money!

Since I am allowed to have up to 3 accounts I made one for my grandsons. They are above that level but they just like to play around on it to earn tickets and buy things. They actually have fun on it!

I would love to know how many Louann would have by now. She was only 600 posts short of her total from last year when she passed.

I miss her! I have been through some things lately with my dogs and have always wrote to her in the past for advice. I have been really needing her lately! She is here with us though! =)
