Ok, this is 3 rows of single crochet I just made. It is looking like a rainbow shape instead of a square, each row has 20 stitches like video said to do. What am I doing wrong , it is not square?

Hello all. I am late posting today but have been thinking about y'all. Hope everyone is doing good. It is a hot one today! Sounds like some of y'all are already in the pool here at the Pines and I'm going to join you! I am staying away from the hot tub...it's warm enough outside.

I know!!! I just keeping telling myself that I just have to make it to next tuesday!!! They are showing a warm up at the end of next week then possibly our first frost the following week!!!

NO!!!!! I love frosts, but my gardens sure don't.

Almost time for me to head out to my brothers. Hubby is working late so I guess I'll meet him there. He always makes the ice cream (well, I make the mix, but he watches it in the ice cream freezer) SO wish me luck!!!! :-D

Have a good night gang!!!

Good luck and have fun!!!

It looks to me like your stitches are looser than your starting chain. Try to keep the same tension throughout.

It is beginning to smell like spaghetti sauce - yay!

I agree with Meceka---but don't sweat it too much at this point. Once you do some more rows your swatch will "square up" more. The important thing is that you haven't mistakenly increased a stitch. The tension will come with practice. Once you're comfortable with making the stitches, you'll settle into your natural tension.

Great color choice, by the way! cheesy
