Oh well, the Bengals blew that game with too many mental errors.
I just wanted to give a shout-out to Xmas for all his work on the Christmas-Song-a-Day thread. It has really been a blessing and a mood-lifter. If you haven't visited it and would like to hear some Christmas Spirit, just check it out! You'll be glad you did. Would you believe he has been doing this daily for almost two years!!!
Good Morning, Sundayacs and Christmas Maniacs!
Rise, shine and read the daily count of your choice.
Actually, the choice is simple and here it is:
Days to the Season: 66
Days to Christmas Day: 108
Tomorrow, Guys -- ONE WEEK until the 100-day Christmas Day Milestone. Followed instantly by a double/double count.
(Let me tell you, Folks. We are running low on Milestones. A sure sign that Christmas Season 2013 will soon be upon us!)
Another wonderful day was had here yesterday.
Still the nice low humidity and moderate temps.
Now, today is supposed to be 8-10 degrees warmer but hopefully the humidity will remain diminished.
Right now? Well, we record 65.6 degrees here on our digital backdoor thermometer.
Have a Super Sunday, Friends!
And enjoy the balance of your weekend in the spirit of the pending Season.
I'm sorry that I have to root against his team but I already promised to root for the packers.
Hope he can finish the trench without to much hassle!!

We are having a big Laua at church this morning. Our new pastor is getting his official welcome. He told us that he always wears Hawaiian shirts when he preaches because he wants everyone to know that it is not important what you wear to church, just that you come. So everyone is wearing something Hawaiian, a shirt, mumu, leis, etc. Going to be a colorful morning!
It is also our churches 97th anniversary so we will have lots of additional guests for this. Lunch afterwards too!
Good morning everyone!
Following a wonderful trip home to Sault Ste. Marie, I have returned to my adopted home of Ottawa. I had a wonderful time with my family and visiting my grandmothers. Now, I guess, it's back to the real world - and trying to re-enter the real world via job searching.
Plans for today? Football is back! I plan to visit the gym for a couple hours late this morning and then sit on the couch and watch football for much of the day. I can't wait to see the Packers take the field once again. It's going to be an exciting season. I just hope some of the changes they made will be beneficial.
As for the weather, it is quite evident that we are nearing mid-September. The sun will be shining all day, but temperatures will only reach a high of 16c/61f. The forecast for the week has it warming up in Ottawa. Highs into the mid 20s/lower 80s by Wednesday. I'm not complaining though...
Excited to see the countdown drop. It will be something when we reach into the 50s later this week. Oh, and who can forget the hidden milestone of exactly two months until the beginning of the Christmas Season?! Another reason to look forward to Friday!
Have a great Sunday everyone!
I need to stay off of amazon!!! LOL!!!!!
My aunt's birthday and Christmas is done. Only my 2 niece's here left to go.
I like the Packers, too, since Rodgers is from Chico. We sat at his grandmother's table last Christmas. Beautiful woman!

What will you do with yourself for the rest of the Season?
Adrian met him a few months ago, and as much as he wanted to dislike him, he said he was a very nice guy!
You continue to amaze me. Way to go!

Hi everyone!
I haven't been on in a while, things have been so hectic. I started to type out a post earlier but had to shut the computer down to do something. That's the way it's been around here lately. Anyway, I'm sneaking on my phone to pop in and say hello. Our house is still under construction. My husband has done a lot of work in this house over the years but this has definitely been the longest and most difficult project to live through. The wood floors are all sanded and finished. I'll post a picture of my dining room and living room. He also did the kitchen and den floors, all the same. Today my husband plans on putting up molding. Lots and lots of molding. Then lots of painting to do. Then we should finally be able to design the kitchen.
Other than that, I have been super busy with the kids and keeping up with my daily chores. The girls head back to school tomorrow. We have been getting appointments out of the way, shopping and even doing some trial runs to see where their new schools and classrooms will be. They are usually back to school before the 9th, this is kind of late for us. I'm looking forward to getting back to my normal routine.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
