Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a hot one here today with a high of 97. Just 2 more days until the cool down. I hope I can make it. Not much going on here today. Just some work on the computer and trying to stay cool. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

We are actually going to be a little "cooler" today, mid 90's but like you, can I make it until this weekend when we drop a little more in temps? Ugh! I even have 1 friend (only 1, lol) that loves summer here and she is actually getting aggravated with it this year.

I've had one for about a year and I really enjoy having it. Music, videos, games, email, texting, and the Internet all in one package! Put a word in Santa's ear ... maybe you could get one for Christmas!

Great idea!

Well, I started way too late to read all of today's posts. We went to the Dr. today and she said that Dr. Wifey has started to dilate. We got back for another visit in three days....then next Monday. If no luck next Monday, she said she would schedule something.

You think we can schedule this around the Cowboys game? Should I even bring that up?

Have a great Tuesday!

So exciting Ballcoach!!!

Hello everyone! Just had to share that on a girls' weekend away I just went on I found a Christmas shop! It's in a large town about 3 hours drive from where we live. It's in a lovely wine growing area surrounded by gentle hills. It was a fabulous weekend and finding the Christmas shop just capped it off!! The shop was full of decorations, trees, ornaments...just everything! While the others spent their time spending money in clothes/jewellery, gift or book shops, I spent all mine in the Christmas shop. What a great way to spend a lovely weekend.

Sounds like fun, glad you had a great time!!!

Good evening,

I guess I am the last one in tonight, I'll be sure to get the lights before I leave. cheesy

Today actually went very quickly at work. I did get the dreaded news that I will be a "HOT" item team leader on Black Friday, for the 3rd year in a row. I hate that job. I have my first training session on Thursday, at least I learn about it 2+ months in advance instead of a week before like the last few years.
Day off tomorrow, I have my physical in the a.m., and then JP has his in the afternoon.

Just listening to the Joy Strings Christmas album before bed, it is something a little different, a nice change though.

Hope the physicals go well!

Enjoy! William and I had a blast looking at it all.

Great pictures Undrtakr!

Glad to hear your girls had a great first day back and hoping you got some sleep! Congrats to your daughter!

Thanks Sugar!!!

Well. I cant find Christmas Blossoms because I think it wasn't created yet lol. Whoops! Well here we go then!

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing! Blossoms thread should be nearing its debut for the 2013 Christmas Season! I'd imagine that Crown will have it up and running two weeks from today! September 24th seems to be the average date throughout the past few years.

Good evening!
The girls first day of school went well. They all seem to be pretty tired tonight. Its going to take some time before we get use to waking up so early in the mornings again. But it always takes time to get back in to the swing of things. I'm going to turn in soon, I am so tired. I woke up at 3:00 a.m. and couldn't fall back to sleep. I kept looking at the clock every 5 minutes. I'm hoping that doesn't happen again.
We took a ride to Best Buy this afternoon to pick up an iPad for my daughter to use at her nursing program. They are very cool, I would love to have one for myself. And finally, my youngest took her road test today and passed. She is so excited. I now have three teenagers that drive. Eeek!
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful evening.
Goodnight!!

Congrats to your daughter passing her driving test. 3 teenagers driving = nerve wracking!!! I bet your daughter will love her iPad! I agree you should ask the big guy in red for one for Christmas!!! :D

Love, love, love that cartoon! I recorded it on VHS nearly 20 years ago and it was always a favorite of ours. We watch it at least 10 times every year even up until now. "My name is Noel and I have a happiness"!

Yep! LOVE IT!! It's a great one! I have it on VHS but if it were available on DVD, I would have that too!!! I saw it on tv one time years ago. Then while at a flea market I found it (VHS) for a couple bucks, so I grabbed that right up! But now we don't have a working VHS player anymore at home. At the lake I do though!

Good luck with that one! Hee hee! How exciting!!

So lovely, Holiday! I am going to do a ripple stitch, too! I bough even more yarn today! It's getting to be that time of year, and I love it!

It is! I thought about working on my afghan last night, but I enjoyed just sitting & watching a movie (and NOEL) - doing nothing!!

What a great find!! Sounds like you had a great time!!!

These are the two veggies I can't wait to start growing! DH just was measuring out for our garden the other day. He will be digging sometime soon, this fall. Can't wait!

FUN!!!!

That sounds perfect! I hope you were able to enjoy your evening!

I did! Thanks!!!! My hubby was gone most of the night so I had the house to myself! (Not that I want that ALL the time, but it was nice for a night!!)

Good morning everyone!

A warm day ahead. Temperatures are to only be in the mid 70s but lower 90s with humiex. It should be interesting! No big plans for today. I'll keep applying for jobs. I also have a doctor's appointment in just over an hour. It's routine active release therapy appointment on my knee. It was a little sore about a week ago but it has since calmed down. Everything should be good!

I think I should be getting ready though. I only have about 30 minutes to get ready. Have a great morning everyone! Enjoy your Tuesday!

I need more room too!!! Maybe I can just buy the snowman stuff though and put it out after Christmas as my winter decor.

I would have paid good money to see that!!!! LOL!!!!

Love my crock pot!!! I'm just not a real big soup person. I'll make several this winter though.

I usually put up all my snowmen, with all my Christmas stuff, but if my amount of Christmas things keep growing, I may have to do that too .

Now that's not nice...I could have got hurt!!!

I love mine too! I use it so often in the fall/winter months. I use it good bit though too, even in the spring & summer. It's just so easy to cook with.

Good morning!
Just got back from walking the dogs a little while ago. We had showers earlier this morning but they seem to have passed. We are going to have temperatures in the lower 80's today, even warmer tomorrow. Blah.
So far I have straightened up the house, started laundry and started chicken cacciatore in the crock pot for dinner. I have a few errands to run including a trip to the supermarket.
My youngest has had her drivers license for 24 hours and is already making her father and I crazy, she really wants her own car. I don't blame her, she is excited. We have to decide what we are going to do about putting another car on the road for her. I will probably spend a little time looking in to that this afternoon.
I hope everyone is doing well and has a wonderful day!!!

you must good at hot items to be picked every year!

I think it is more because I am 6'1 230lbs, have the big guy in charge to keep people in line. It makes my anxiety issues really bad dealing with that stress.

I am more like a big teddy bear though, but they don't need to know that. cheesy

Good morning,

Just watching a little TV before leaving for my appt. Merlin is sitting next to me sleeping, he is our "old guy" and he always needs to be with someone. I have got to head out, my doctor will probably tell me the same thing he always tells me, I have to lose weight.

Hey, I eat all the cookies, but don't finish the milk. cheesy

I will be back later.

Enjoy your day!!!!

that is not to bad temp wise, better than down here, going to be 34c (93f) with the humidity it will feel like 44c (111f), so happy we still have the window AC in!
have a great day

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Jacob finally gathered up all the money he saved through the year working at Bernie's and birthday and Christmas money, and finally had enough to order the guitar he's been wanting. So, last night we ordered it, and he can't wait. Shoot, I want to play it, too!

My city council meeting went well last night. We finally got some support from the local DOT cleaning out some deep ditches beside the road that enters Bellville from the east. And we've hired a local lawn service to clean the streets and edge all the curbs & sidewalks. finally, Bellville is getting presentable again!

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

LOL, sounds great! Just stand there with your arms crossed and look at them, that should work.
