I am back, had my lunch and sitting down for a few, I have to leave to get JP in less than an hour for his appt. Just like I said, I have to lose weight, this coming from my Dr, who is no skinny minnie himself. Everything checked out, just waiting for my cholesterol test to come back.

I hear you on the weight, too! I have stopped working out but picked it back up again this week. It's kicking my hind end! I feel great after I do it, but its tough waking up early enough to get it done. Now i just need to eat better! Good luck with yours...I know you can do it!

I looked up the title---it's "Five Little Peppers in Trouble." I don't know if TCM ever shows it ... I saw it on 16mm. (That's film, not a cable channel! cheesy)

Wow, both your parents are YOUNG!!! It really doesn't take that long to get used to the C-PAP (they are also improving them all the time), and once your dad has a good night's sleep, he will feel lots better! And, yes, he does need it because of his job! Absolutely! Still thinking of you and your family. Thanks for you sympathy for our cat. She was just like a real kid to us since the human kids are all grown! Have a great fall day!

we do think alot alike! That was my first thought too, they are younger than me, and here I was picturing this elderly couple in their 80's like my mom. LOL< shows how easy it is to misunderstand on line!
You are so right about the c-pap, my firend says she never felt better since she got hers. Yes, it is important for his job, if you are tired you cannot do a good job.

How are all of you? Missy and I are fine. I don't recall the last time I posted in this page (sorry!) but since then, I've been working for the Bureau of Unclaimed Property, Missy and I celebrated 1 year of being "mommy and furdaughter", I'm still active in the Transplant Games (headed for Houston next summer!), and in a long-distance relationship with a great guy! :yahoo:

Good morning!!! Hope you all are doing well! Not much going on at work today. Usually Wednesday is my slowest day of the week....could be a looong week! (at work!) It is already super hot & sticky outside so I'm happy to be in the AC (and wearing my sweatshirt! :lol I wore a tank top for our morning walk today - Sept. 10th & still wearing tank tops at 5:30 am! That's unusual!!! We might have ice cream for supper tonight! Hubby won't want anything warm after working outside all day!! And I haven't been to the ice cream store in town alll summer & it's about to close for the year! EEK!!!!

Make it a great day!

My wife makes something similar to that, it is quite tasty!!!

And it makes your house smell wonderful while it's baking. I usually don't put the tapioca in b/c I usually don't have any. It's just for thickening & it doesn't really need it!

It was really nice. After lunch with my high school friend & her daughter, we went to the lake. 6 neighbors & my hubby rode bicycles with me to a little tavern on the corner for a birthday drink. Then we all went back to our trailer for pizza - then a bonfire. It was a good night.

It's so hard to get back in the swing once you have not done it for awhile. ESPECIALLY that early morning stuff!!! I got out of the swing last winter. I can't let that happen again this year. It's so easy to stay snuggled in bed when it's so cold outside, but too hard to pick it back up again later!!! Good luck!!!

Well, it was a secret. LOL Not really! We found another one that is already in great shape, so we're going to build that one, instead.

That is smart of Jacob to save his money like that and then spend it on something he has wanted! I bet it will make him really appreciate it more!

I was proud of him, saving back for what he really wanted. If I ever save back for something I want, I start feeling bad about spending a lot on myself, and I wind up using it around the house. Doggone my conscience!

Well, I started way too late to read all of today's posts. We went to the Dr. today and she said that Dr. Wifey has started to dilate. We got back for another visit in three days....then next Monday. If no luck next Monday, she said she would schedule something.

You think we can schedule this around the Cowboys game? Should I even bring that up?

I usually put up all my snowmen, with all my Christmas stuff, but if my amount of Christmas things keep growing, I may have to do that too .

Now that's not nice...I could have got hurt!!!

I love mine too! I use it so often in the fall/winter months. I use it good bit though too, even in the spring & summer. It's just so easy to cook with.

Keeps the house cool, too. I have been using mine a lot more this summer!
