Double UGH!!! I hate the heat but love the idea of Christmas stuff!!!

I just thought I would whine about all the Christmas stuff being out too early since it's such a major issue with some. Ha ha!!!

Don't count yourself out until you try! There are tons of instructional videos on YouTube that show you exactly how to do each step of crochet or knitting. If one video isn't clear, there are plenty more that might make things clearer. Get a cheap skein of acrylic yarn and a plastic crochet hook and give it a try ... you might surprise yourself!

Hey! I saw Christmas tissues at the grocery store today!! Noel was squealing, "Yay! It's Christmas time!" It was so cute!!

Oh I have been looking for Christmas tissues! I haven't found any yet. I always stock up on them. Have fun with the kids this afternoon!

I saw them at Giant, I think they are mostly in PA. Just a teensy display in one aisle!

We watched "Caillou's Holiday Movie" and had a picnic lunch in the living room. I wanted to go to Michael's but hte kids are cozy and don't want to go out. Fine with me!

Making some soup and some muffins in a bit instead!

Yeah ... Boston.com has a few features today focused on Christmas marketing that has started already, including a poll asking readers when Christmas advertising should start. Fairly neutral in tone, but it gets people riled up in the wrong way anyhow.

(Let me amend that ... the shootings at the Washington Navy Yard have driven the Christmas advertising stories off the page. At least six are reported dead. Yet another violent, senseless tragedy.)

I was watching that on the news this morning. So sad!!!!!!! And scary!!!!!

LOL!!!!! I know, I can't believe stores would have Christmas stuff out or have ads for Layaway ads on tv already!!!!

I enjoyed doing that one.* I hope I turned some people on to some movies they might not have watched otherwise!

*I enjoyed it when I was finished. Writing the script and excerpting the sound bites and working them into the script was a challenge, along with keeping it at a reasonable length! It's amazing how many hours of work it takes to produce a short segment!

We have that on DVD and watch it quite a bit. Very cute!!!

Thank you! I really sweat the details on those, from the writing to the recording, editing, and mixing. I haven't had much of a chance to produce segments this year, because I haven't had the time to devote to doing it well, and I just won't give it less than my best. And I know that holds with making videos, too, because I'm working on this year's YuleTube when I can.
