Oh and thirdly snowflake your decorations are amazing!!!

Thank you, kizzy!! Very nice of you to say!!
Do you guys have TJ Maxx, Marshall's, or Home Goods in the UK? That's where I find a lot of them. They have the coolest decorations from all over the world, and a lot are vintage <3

I want to visit your shop!!

xx

Flipping through the channels and who do I find, Valerie!!!!!!! My heart just skipped a beat. LOL!!!!!

What?! And I missed her?! :#

She was just on pushing her flameless pumpkins. So she was only there for a few minutes then she said she had to go get ready for this weekend. So, she's at the bar now!!!!

Okay, I just bought 2 tickets for the powerball tonight. So if you hear a bunch of yelling and screaming later tonight, you'll know I'm rich!!!!!! Then again, Sugar and Snowflake may have just gotten into Carl's gummy bears again.

Ya just never know!! LOL!!

And when you get all that money go but a ring for Valerie and make your love official!

Go for it, buddy!!

You sound like my mom after she went back to work from vacation. She's a registered nurse and her job always stresses her out. :-)

Edit: I forgot you guys asked me what classes I'm taking. I have law of mass media (hardest class), global news media, reporting and information gathering and principles of public relations. :-)

That sounds like quite a load of classes - enjoy!

Good evening,

My Tuesday is coming to an end, my eyelids feel very heavy.

My usual night shift tomorrow, so I will get MMC time in the AM.

I hope you all had a great day.

Good night all, may you have Christmassy dreams!!!

I did! Christmas shopping at a branch of where you work, 80% percent off of everything, in the line where two of my cousins were working and they gave me both of their discounts . . . my total was still over 200 and I had a huge pile of DVDs. Seems like it was the only check-out line, the line was long behind me, everyone was smiling and getting along . . . Christmas carols were playing and there were a few Santa hats spotted, too. :yahoo:

Glad you're enjoying it!!

He worked in radio for 16 years, first as an intern, then a DJ, and got an opportunity in Nevada as a morning show producer. It was a much bigger market, so he jumped at it. He really liked it, but also wanted to spread his wings. He worked in promotions, and now is a Director for Larry The Cable Guy's charity- The Git-r-Done Foundation. They originally met in radio.

Wishing you the best of luck!! :)

What a worthwhile job A. has - awesome! I have no idea who Larry the Cable Guy is other than I saw a display of his potato chips at the grocery store. They must be good, when I went back the next week, they were almost gone!

Glad to hear your garden survived!!! YAY!!! Do you share your chipotle tomato sauce recipe. Sounds super yummy & we still have lots of maters coming!!!

Thank you! No official recipe, but this is what I did:

5 quarts tomato juice/puree
Approximately 3 tablespoons of a dried Chipotle seasoning
Brown sugar, to taste
Simmer until thick - about 2 1/2 hours

It is BEAUTIFUL here & I have the day off work - I am stuck inside every day at work & where have I been ALLL day (except for our morning walk)??? Yup, inside!!! What the heck????? Making a peach crisp for my FIL right now since it is his birthday today too!!!!! Many happy birthdays to him too!!! I didn't mean to exclude him from his special day!!

A very Happy Birthday to your FIL!

OhOh I forgot to say another good thing happened to me today! I have a charity collections box for small change on my shop counter, it's for radio Christmas, a charity station which helps street kids in Latin America. A customer was gobsmacked that there was such a station, Christmas music all year etc ....then she comments that she bets it's the same generic 30 songs, so I had great pleasure in saying to her well if you want something with a bit more oomph and you want to listen to some really great stuff tune in to kringle radio!!, I wrote the web address down for her she was so chuffed she put £5 in the charity box anyway and was off home to investigate kringle radio. It's great to share the Christmas cheer

That is a great story, Kizzy! Thank you for sharing!!

Have you read Christmasstar's article on chestnuts?

Yes, it's a lot of hard work but also very rewarding!!

I'll have to tell Adi that @ the chips!! We were able to move back to Wisconsin because Adrian is marketing the food products whose proceeds benefit his charity. They are produced in various Midwest states.

Larry The Cable Guy is a comedian, and also has a show on the History Channel called Only In America. He also did the voice for Tow Mater in Disney Pixar's movie Cars.
