I fear this time of year as we are so close, and time flies so quickly that it is here and gone in a heartbeat! If I could work my will, I'd slow time to half the normal speed from November 13th to Jan 1...Alas, times does what time does...it flies...Happy milestone none-the-less with a special thanks to my friend Crown for their able countdown updates all year long, they have brightened more than a few dark days for me this year...and it has been a REALLY hard year...

watching Home Improvement right now and then Friends......to my delight....Kandice has inherited my love for sitcoms.....she loves friends....she doesn´t really get all the jokes...but she likes the gestures of Chandler and the funny things that Phoebe says...and she finds Rachael and Monica incredibly beautiful

Just got back from lunch. I threw together some Low-Fat Chicken Dumpling Soup for supper. It's in the crock pot now. I have never made it before so hopefully it's good!!!

Good evening,

Wow, a quiet day here on MMC, I usually have to go through 10-15 pages to catch up. I only had to go through 3.5.

My Bengals beat the Patriots, 13-6, it is very satisfying since I was at a party where everyone else was a Patriots fan. I was rocking my Bengals t-shirt and hat, everyone was quite shocked when they saw I was a Bengals fan. The local sports shows around here are still in shock that the Bengals won, so many are making excuses for why the Pats lost. I also told my wife it was very cruel to make me go to a party where everyone was the enemy teams fan.


So that caps off a very successful sports weekend for me.

Not much else went on around here today.

My hubby was pretty happy too. Now my brother in MA, I'm sure - was not! Here are some pics our neighbors from the lake sent to us of their dog (Wheaten Terrier) after the Bengals win. He is such a good boy - I felt bad for the guy. He had no choice in his outfit!!! Ha ha ha!

That was my problem last night. I turned on the tv when I crawled in bed & there was some freaky movie on. I only watched it for 5-10 minutes before I knew I had to turn something happy on (Frasier), but when I had to get up in the middle of the night to let Buster out, I had myself freaked out thinking about that darn movie! Ha ha ha!

This morning has started damp but without active precipitation.

I have meant to ask you before if your dog was Wheaten or part Wheaten. So cute! *IF* Buster doesn't live for ever lol: - wish he could) our next dog will be a Wheaten.

Happy Milestone Day MMC!!!!!!! It's a beautiful day here with the high only getting to the mid 60's. I finally broke down and went to the ER this morning to get my foot checked. Mainly because I was threatened within an inch of my life by Sugar and Snowflake if I didn't go. LOL!!!! I was pretty sure that I knew what was wrong already but the doctor confirmed it. I have a stress fracture of one of the metatarsal bones. So for the next 4 to 6 weeks I get to wear some fancy new footwear and use Crutches. Which I hate and probably won't use. I'll just use a cane to keep some of the weight off of it. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you went to the doc, but you need to clarify you went on your own free will and Sugar and Snow had nothing to do with it. As a man you weighed your options and made the best call.

We don't let women tell us what to do, that's for darn sure!

Hope everyone had a great weekend...ours was pretty good. My daughter had a soccer game and it was rainy yesterday so I made a turkey with all the fixings...nice comfort food!

My hubby was upset about the Patriots...die hard fan he is..but tonight we have the Red Sox playoff game so he is looking forward to that.

It is raining here again in CT we are supposed to have a bad storm tonight hopefully will not be too bad.

Yes they are. We had 3 of them at our marina at the lake, but unfortunately Stella (4yo) had to be put down b/c she ate their carpet. She needed to have an expensive surgery in Columbus & they just couldn't afford it. So sad. So we have Jackson (in the pics) & Katie, who is just a pup - she's around 4 months old & she will steal your heart in .5 seconds!! Our friends in Pittsburgh also have one. They are good dogs!

I just realized Christmas is on a Wednesday. Surely Carl won't close. Is there a better way to wrap up Christmas Day than a trip to the Pines? I bet he'll throw one heck of a party!

I heard he was throwing an extra special Christmas party the Wednesday before Christmas and has a surprise more amazing than any of us could ever try to guess.
Carl is off to spend Christmas with his family and will actually be closing the Pines this year because it is Christmas day.
He is opening it however the following Tuesday for New Years Eve party which will also include a really big fireworks display.
