That count is really starting to scare me!!

Well after all, we are getting close to Halloween, you know.
Just think how scary the count will be then!

I just had a surprise visit from my uncle, whom I haven't seen in years. He is the last remaining family I have from my mother's side living around here. He is doing well, I am just in shock, because we spoke to him before Christmas last year and invited him to Christmas Eve. He said he would be coming but he never showed up, and we called him after that and never heard from him until today.

It is strange how things like that happen.

What a nice surprise!!

Meceka, I sure admire you for all the things you make from scratch. I make lots of things from scratch and cook mostly fresh foods. I would love to make ketchup! I have so many food sensitivities that even ketchup upsets my stomach. I guess there are too many preservatives in them? Not sure. I would probably do better making it myself. I never thought of doing that! Just like making my homemade peanut butter I can never go back to the jar stuff. I would probably do the same with the ketchup! I think I need a recipe from you! =)

When my Bruins lost the Stanley Cup Final back in June, I was sad but I didn't let it ruin my day, or week. I was just happy for the ride the team took us, the fans on.
I think he was more upset than usual because he has been bragging for years on how much better the Patriots are than the Bengals. He lost some of his argument with that game. cheesy
Oh yeah, I get what you mean! That's why I don't go around saying my team will do it all. The way the Boys have been playing for quite some time now I don't want to look stupid! I still love them and always hold out hope for them!
What? You don't live and die with your team? Your not a die hard fan!!!! You're a poser!!! LOL!!!!!
Okay then, I'm a Poser Die Hard Fan! That works for me!!! :-P Ha ha!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high in mid 60's. We start warming back up tomorrow though. I was hoping I was done using the A/C but it looks like it may get turned back on by the end of the week. Not to much going on here today. Just sitting here watching QVC. I also have to do some laundry. So I'm going to have to be a bad boy and walk on my foot some. At least it's not real far though. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we are way done with AC here, getting to a point where we are considering turning on the heat.
Carefull with the walking, I wasn't and am paying for it now!

We're kinda in between. The A/Cs have been stowed away for the winter, but the heat hasn't really kicked in yet. I'm sure it'll be on every morning by the end of the month, though.

I just read an article about 21 of the original Muppets being donated to the Smithsonian. Kermit has been there 19 years already (when I saw him, they had him in a display with Charlie McCarthy and Irving Berlin's piano). Now Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, the Swedish Chef, and others are there too. It made me feel a little wistful. I grew up with the original Muppet Show, and to me the Muppets just haven't been the same since Jim Henson passed away and the Muppets became Disney properties. It's amazing how many of the "little" Muppet Show characters I can still identify, like Camilla the chicken and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker. When I listen to "The Twelve Days of Christmas" on the John Denver and the Muppets Christmas album, I think I can still identify every voice.

Good morning,

I have been busy this morning, get the boys ready and off to school, run to Goodwill, and Rocky's Hardware Store, very little Christmas stuff out by the way.
I wanted to go to KMart, but I saw a fellow co-worker walking in and didn't want to deal with being social with someone from work today. cheesy So I just left instead, I will head back probably next week.

I have already done 2 loads of laundry, unloaded the dishwasher, and next I will tackle the sink faucet, got to replace the whole thing.

Just watching some Christmas With The Kranks now.

I hope you all have a great Pines Eve!!!!

I will be popping in and out throughout the day, I can't stay away from the MMC for too long. cheesy
LOL I did not go into a store once for the same reason!
Sounds like you have a full day, enjoy!

I had to turn the channel before I broke down and bought them.

The faucet is finished, a cut thumb and finger to show for my efforts. I feel like a fool, I spent a half hour trying to hookup the adapter to the new faucet by turning it the wrong way. I couldn't figure out why it would just spin instead of connect. Like I said I have two left thumbs when it comes to fixing things. But I got it done. I have to run out and buy another adapter so the dishwasher will be able to connect to the faucet correctly. :-o

Santa's beard doesn't need glitter in it, Jill!!!!!!!!

Okay rant over. LOL!!!!!

finished our dinner, now the dish washer is running....just flopped on the couch now, chillin

My 4 year old granddaughter loves for me to get out my animated Santa and have me plug it in so she can look at it. I know I have mentioned this before. It is almost as tall as her. We had it out again yesterday. When her mom came to pick her up she gave me a hug then ran over to Santa and hugged him too! :D

She´s such a cute lil gal!!!

Those darn backwards threads get me every time too!!!!

He said he would like to, I made sure to invite him.

Well I hope he does come!

the Muppet show was great, I still watch episodes on utube. maybe someday I will get to go to the Smithsonian and see them all. Have you ever watched any of the Muppet movies? I love the Muppet Christmas Carol.
