Good morning everyone! Of course I realize that right now, all of you are home, in bed, sound asleep, dreaming of White Christmas....EXCEPT ME!!!!:lol:

I couldn't get back to sleep after sleeping for 3 hours, so what did I do, I had the bright notion to get up and go to work...I believe I scored a 10 in the duhhhhh catagory; lol!

Anyways, oh man is it cold out there this morning...It looks like we are having a real nice frost around this area, there was frost on the windshield when I got out into the truck. And on the weather channel, there was a freeze warning issued for this area...Old man winter is knocking on our door~:cold:

Last night, I had to turn the heat on the house for the first time this Fall, it got a little chilly in the house (63 degrees), so I had to flip the thermostat switch over to heat to bump it back up to 68 degrees...

Well, I guess I should get some things accomplished here so that it looks good!

Wow!! Talk about devoted!!!! Hope you get to leave early since you went in so early!!

Good morning! Have a nice Friday everyone! It looks like it's going to be very rainy here today so where are my wellies?... I also think that I'm starting to have soar throat. I haven't had it for many years, I guess, so I'm now having a mug of tea with honey and some lemon. Kill those viruses! ^^ Best wishes to all!

Morning! Glad to hear you had a smashing time at the after party!! Oh dear what a situation for your co worker to find himself in and how embarrassing that everyone knows about it to! Hope the day goes quickly for you and you can rest better tonight!

The problem is, this is happening a lot! Whenever we have an event, he gets completely drunk. Unfortunately our managers aren't able to dismiss him, as we are already two co-workers short. It's not just the alcohol use, he just doesn't care anymore and acts very irresponsible. Besides him, all my co-workers are great and have a great working moral.

Good Morning MMC Gang!

How are you? I hope everyone is healthy!

We had our annual trade fair yesterday and the legendary party afterwards. I had soooo much fun! It is always great to meet people you only know through the phone. Specially if they are very nice.

Unfortunately it got quite late and on top of it I also slept bad. Therefore I'm very tired now.

At least I didn't get ****-faced drunk and woke up in a hotelroom without know how I got there or which hotel I'm in. As one of my co-workers managed to do. I really don't know what to say about that. It's not like the guy is twenty or something. He should be old enough to know not to behave like that. oint:

Glad you had a good time at the party!!!! Drink lots of coffee today to get you through!!!

It sounds like your co worker may need some too!!! I hope he didn't do anything to bad while he was out of it!!!

But of course it IS Weekend Eve.
Time to relax and contemplate the implications of this:
Days to Halloween: 6 (UNDER A WEEK, now!)
Days to the Season: 19 (Wow!)
Days to Christmas Day: 61 (Two months from today!)
Really moving in there now, Folks.

2 months?? Time to start freaking out!!!!! It's flying by to quick!!!!

Good morning!
We woke up to temperatures in the 30's this morning. I broke out my winter jacket (and Molly and Maggie's too!) for our morning walk. It will be partly sunny with a high of 55 degrees today.
I'm going to finish writing up a menu plan and grocery list for next week and then head to the butcher. I also need stop at Rite Aid, I have a list of things that we need.
Not too much else planned for today. I think I may do some online Christmas shopping for the girls since I have the time today. I will be on the lookout for free shipping. I was all set to place an order the other day and decided not to just because of the shipping cost. That makes me crazy!
I hope everyone is well and has a happy Friday!!!

The shipping cost on some sites is just crazy!!! I went to order a shirt for my niece the other day and they wanted $7 dollars to ship it!!!! The shirt was only $10 to begin with. Needless to say I canceled it.

Hope you co worker can get the help he needs. I've seen enough of it in my own family to know that no one can force them to change their ways. They truly do have to hit bottom before they realize that they need to change their ways. It's to bad your managers can't fire him. That may be just what he needs.

Smart move! I'm prone to chest colds where even codeine can't help the cough, but I get relief from hot tea with honey and lemon.

At the car dealership, waiting to find out why the Check Engine light came on. (No, it wasn't because I didn't screw the gas cap on tight enough.)

Edit: It's an expensive gadget that figures out the water-to-gasoline ratio and adjusts the fuel usage ... wait an hour for the repair.

Friday! And, more importantly, two months until we wake up and gather under the Christmas Tree with our families. Yes, Christmas Day, the best day of the year is only two months away. Wow!
