I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was very quiet, but after the busy week I really enjoyed it.

Hours and hours later....but I am finally done with the paper. Woo hoo! A weight has been lifted off of my shoulders lol.

Now I'm tired, hungry, and thirsty. I guess I am going to go grab myself some grub and a drink.

Good point. I would need them too. One of my flatmates said 'I swear I heard Christmas music playing'. That was quite awkward. It looks to me that I listen to Holiday music not so loud but it seems that someone else still hear it. ^^

Time change is so much fun isn't it, our time goes back an hour next week.
Here it is only in the spring and in the fall, do you do it more often than that?

Good Morning!

I am just popping in quickly before a long day at work. The clocks went back by an hour this morning so I have a little time to spare. Yesterday was a nice relaxing day spent watching Harry Potter, baking and playing games with the kids.

I hope you all are having a nice weekend. Anyway I've got to go, I need to get a couple things sorted before I start as tomorrow morning I have an appointment at the hospital. I have to have some treatment and I'll be honest I am dreading it!

Still raining here and we are expecting stormy weather . Have a great sunday everybody!

So tired today.... Been up since 5:30
(we turned back the clock this morning...)

I have wrapped advent calendar gifts
Done with 72 gifts, and 72 more to go!

Also baked bread and carrot cake...
While listening to Christmas radio in my kitchen!

My daughter started taking meds (chemotherapy) this weekend
because of her arthritis...
She's feeling nauseous, but other than that she's fine
Im so proud of her!♥

Well, I have to go back to my chores...
I'll be back later this evening!

I love doing the advent calendar stuff! I am way behind with that. Going to Bronners next Saturday and plan to pick up a bunch of stuff then.
I pray that your daughter does well on the drugs and that she will not have more bad side effects.

I have to work Saturday. Let me know your schedule and I'll see if I can rearrange things so that we can meet up!

Good morning, MMC!

I did not sleep very well and have been up since 3:08. On the plus side I did get some work done already this morning! Yesterday I spent the majority of my time trying to fix something in the house - not so fun, but a necessary job. Today I get to run errands - there are a few things I need to pick up for storage purposes and I need to drop some books off at the library. I love that place! Then if time permits, I am off to Bronner's with my cousin. She has been having a rough time of late and being in that store makes her feel good. Makes me feel good, too! When I get back home there will be a pile of chores waiting for me. It will be good to work off the cupcake at I have been hearing calling my name since this trip has been planned. cheesy

Tomorrow's Monday already? Time just runs faster on weekends, I guess. It's amazing that Halloween is on Thursday!

Next weekend will really fly---I'll be loading exclusively Christmas music on my devices for seasonal listening!

We watched the new restoration of "The Devil Bat" this evening. Fun movie! If you appreciate Bela Lugosi, try to see it.

my daughter was laughing the other day when I showed her the other day that I had 9 songs on my iphone, all Christmas. She is going to help me to do more later today.

Question!

Does anyone know how to mask the smell of paint? It is FREEZING out so we can't keep the windows open to air it out. The smell is horrible and candles aren't doing the trick!

nothing that I know of, we always just kept the window open.There is now an orderless paint you can buy, have not tired it yet but next time I have to paint we will be sure to use it.
