Continuing.

Penney's was a disappointment.
Saw no Christmas section at all.

However, there were 2 isolated trees along the wall nicely decorated and worth a pix:

OK!
Crabtree Valley Mall, fully decorated in all its splendor!

1) Shot down the upper level of the main mall decorations.
(They must agree with me that it's a great display because it hasn't changed in 10 years now!)

2) Each kiosk gets its own little tree.

More.

7) Twin trees flank the opening of an outdoor section of the mall.

8) Long-time readers of this thread know of my penchant (dare I say mania?) for decorated streetlights and iron railings.
Here is a nice example of the former.

How festive & beautiful, Crown!! Great pics!!

Crabtree looks great again, Crown! It's always a true pleasure to witness your fabulous mall each and every Blossoms thread! Is there anything new? It looks quite similar. As always, wreaths on lampposts are beautiful.

It's not done yet, but here's some photos from Christmas Street inside The Bay at Rideau Centre.

Ferris Wheel, just like the one that my dad and I used to ride on Christmas Eve in -25c temperatures.... OK. That might be a lie:

Decorations have arrived in Wal-Mart, although they are later than usual... Wal-Mart still has a lot of decorating to do!

Great Pics, Brent!!!

Yes. Nice picutres.
Great photo quality as well.

In answer to your question: No, the decorations at Crabtree have changed very little over the last 10 years.
They are stuck in a rut so to speak.....but it's a real nice rut!

Forty years ago (yes, the mall is that old!) they used to have Santa and his sleigh with reindeer on the roof but they took that down by the end of the 70's.

Crabtree and I go back a long way. Watched it being built back in 1971-1972 on my way to high school each morning.
