So funny, Made. Either she has been watching too much Valerie or she just wants to drink up!

LOL!!!! Palmer has been watching to much Valerie!!!!!!!!

Good advice, Xmas.

I am sure your new tree will find you. Don't settle on any tree, remember a tree is an investment of love, time and money
One of these years I have to replace my trees, I will stick with them this year. If I had a lot of money I would be getting one of those realistic ones from Balsam Hill. I really don't want to have to give up my first born or an arm and a leg. cheesy

Yummo for the cookies. We went to KFC last night and bought the 10-piece bucket special to have for tonight. The weather has been pretty nice here in northern California. We are still working hard to be ready for the concrete contractor. Timing is everything and the wind and rain has not been kind this past week. Cuddle up with your afghan and do some relaxing and reading. Have fun. Glad Mr. is better. Take care, both of you!

The wind is still howling out there. We just stayed in today and rustled up some lunch in the kitchen. (Mr. baked some chocolate chip cookies from pre-packaged cookie dough for dessert.) I had a nasty headache when I got home from my shopping, so I've been taking it easy this afternoon watching History Channel Christmas programs on DVD, and Garfield's Thanksgiving special. Mr. has been getting numerous packages of gifts ready for mailing. I'll be working on mine next weekend. It's so nice to be indoors and cozy when the cold wind is howling outside. (I only hope it doesn't blow down the lights and decorations I put out yesterday.)

Get Palmer to keep you warm! Take care, Meceka!

Good afternoon, MMC!

Dishes are done so I have the rest of the evening to putter around the house - yay! It is going to feel like it is 3 degrees out tonight - so glad there is not much wind!

Have a MERRY evening!

Orange anything sounds good to me. I love it! I don't really like to eat oranges per se, but I do love the flavor.

Good morning everyone and a happy Sunday to you all. My wife and I are heading out for some orange mochas and a plunder round a few shops. There may be a detour to a Christmas shop :-)

That picture of her on Facebook is so darn cute! How was dinner? It really looked good.

had dinner and now we all are just chilling....been a good Sunday.....Kandice helped preparing the food.....she wore swim-goggles to chop the onions....lol....and she put the spices i gave her....all in all a very good lil helper....and too cute

Xmas, I meant to tell you to go to the post office with the damaged mail and tell them about the checks, etc. One time we received a card that had obviously been stolen from. The postmaster asked me if I knew how much money had been in the card. I had already asked my ex-husband and he told me he had sent $40 (in cash), and the postmaster gave me the $40. I only had to fill out a form. I am sure the postmaster knew I was an honest person. Maybe you could get your stop-payment money back. It's worth a try.

Just to update all of you. My mother passed away on Saturday, Nov 23 at 9 in the morning. She went peacefully with my brother, my wife and me at her side. We will have the funeral Tuesday.

I want to thank all of you for your prayers and thoughts during these last few years as she bravely battled cancer.

I will be away for several more days as I spend time with my family.

***** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 13 *****

Good Morning, Folks.

Can we really be so close to TWO WEEKS into Christmas Season 2013 already?
Can Thanksgiving really be this Thursday?

Well, the figures don't lie and liars don't figure:
Days to Thanksgiving: 3 (Under HALF A WEEK off, now!)
Days to Christmas Day: 30 (ONE MONTH FROM TODAY!)
Have mercy, Father Time. Have mercy!

Cold, cold, cold.
Below freezing yesterday morning and not much warmer all day.
Windy, too.
(I took the dog on a SHORT walk!)
Today may be worse.
And tonight! I don't even want to thing about tonight!
It is 24 shivery degrees outside here at this hour.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Friends.
And a Stupendous Start to Turkey Week!

Santa is on breakfast television this morning!
They are doing their Christmas give away show a month early!

This is a show to honor those who give to their communities, they were supposed to tell their stories and the show decided they should be honored in this way. So cool, these folks are now going to receive many great gifts.
What a wonderful idea.

Well the snow came but we actually got more ice than snow. I'm wanting my office to be closed in the morning but we will see. I'm not holding out hope. :(

Hope it is for you Ryan. There's nothing like a 3 day weekend...

This morning when I went outside, the temperature was in the teens. Oh it took a long time for the car to warm up today!

Tomorrow, we are supposed to have a weather system roll in, with it starting out as Ice and then turning into rain for Tuesday and Wednesday. Now, what would be nice, is that it would turn to snow and then I could have off Tuesday and Wednesday for a 6 day weekend....That's because Thursday and Friday is a paid holiday for me....

Good morning everyone!

As Crown said, can we really be so close already? One month from today, we will all be gathered around our Christmas Trees, cherishing the most wonderful moments of the year. Yes, it is our final Rudolph Day of the year, let's make sure we commemorate it with something Christmas!

Kim and I had a decent time in Cornwall. Her nephews enjoyed their birthday and it was good seeing some of her family. We returned home yesterday just in time to watch some football.

As for today, well, it is quite a chilly day! Temperatures are currently -10c/10f or -17c/1f with windchill. Yes, even the temperature agrees that December will come on Sunday. Unfortunately, I did not receive a phone call to teach this morning. Monday is a difficult day to receive an assignment, but I awoke and dressed anyway. Perhaps I will take a nap shortly!

I hope that everyone had a great weekend! The Christmas Season is still in full-swing. Christmas Specials will start filling the airwaves and the rest of the world is filling with Christmas Spirit. Have a great Monday, everyone! It may be the work week, but it helps us get that much closer to Christmas! Merry Christmas!

Good morning my wonderful Christmas friends~

It's Monday, but, the last one in November, which is a good thing because that means December is on our doorsteps and knocking on the door....

It's a cold one here in the outer parts of Baltimore County this morning with temps in the teens....Oh boy did that warm bed and lots of covers feel soooooo good this morning, it took all the effort in the world for me to roll out of bed this morning.

I got all my Christmas cards filled out last night for the exchange, today, I'm heading out to the post office to get some stamps and tomorrow I will get them all in the mail. We are in full packing mode at home, but have yet to nail a new home. We have been unsuccessful so far in all of our attempts of putting offers in on a home to purchase. Last night, we put a contact in for house that we saw, visited and liked a lot, wish us luck.

Lisa has been walking around the house singing; "I'll be homeless for Christmas....", not really, but that's what's she's singing, I think it's funny. Our settlement date is Dec. 27th on our home, oh this will be fun.... Watch, we haven't had any snow for 2 years and we will get a blizzard on the day we move, lol...

If we don't get this house or find a home, Lisa's parents have offered for us to stay with them for a little bit until we do so; that was nice of them....

Well, have a good Monday, wish us luck and have a good day....:yahoo:
