Merry Morning!! How are you guys? I hope everyone is doing well. I am just getting ready to make my way to the post office but I wanted to say hi even if only quickly!

I dislike when I miss a few days on here , it will be impossible to catch up since I was last on. It's been busy here. We had a nice weekend although we had to change some of our plans. The car broke down as DH was driving home on Friday evening. Anyway we made it out on Saturday to the Christmas markets but stayed in on Sunday. I have put up quite a few decorations now and even bought a couple new things I also managed to get some new LED lights for the tree which will be going up on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok well I must dash, as I am writing this I have just noticed that my son has drawn not only on his face but on the TV screen .........in felt tip!!!!

Good morning!
Oh my gosh, I'm having a cup of coffee and watching the news. They just reported that a mall Santa in Massachusetts was arrested for groping a female Elf photographer. Unbelievable.
It is going to be cloudy today with showers moving in later this afternoon and a high of 44 degrees.
After everyone is off to school and work I will be heading out to finish the rest of my food shopping for Thanksgiving. I was supposed to pick up my turkey from the butcher tomorrow but I'm going to call and see if I could get it today. I would rather stay in all day tomorrow to start prepping and cooking and also do any last minute cleaning. And the weather is supposed to be awful tomorrow, heavy rain and high winds.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

It just makes you wonder how well some of these places check out their Santa's before hand.

Hope you can get your turkey today so you don't have to go out in that tomorrow!!! Stay safe!!!!

had to cancel anyway, they are not allowing it! Something about not being American and that crazy at -10c (14f). Oh well, a line up will start to form half an hour before it opens I may go then, depends on how much it warms up.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a busy day yesterday, and I see another one coming today. I have to work hard, though, because I plan to take off tomorrow. Our plant will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving. I hope to spend a little time at my brother's shop tomorrow working on the Camaro. It's been a couple weeks since we did anything with it, and it feel like I'm letting him down.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a chilly one with a high of 36 today. My main goal today is to try and get some of my prep work done for Thanksgiving. I want to get the eggs boiled, celery and onion chopped, and I might even go ahead and make up my macaroni salad. I have to babysit all day tomorrow, so the more I can get done today, the better. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a chilly one with a high of 36 today. My main goal today is to try and get some of my prep work done for Thanksgiving. I want to get the eggs boiled, celery and onion chopped, and I might even go ahead and make up my macaroni salad. I have to babysit all day tomorrow, so the more I can get done today, the better. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's it! The mad turkey rush for 2013 is over!!!! I am off tomorrow, and Wednesday will be spent getting ready for Black Friday, since Massachusetts law prohibits stores opening on Thanksgiving, Thank God! I will have to be there at midnight on Thurs/Fri and work all night. I have a lot to do tomorrow trying to get the rest of my Christmas decorating done.

How nice that you are OFF WORK!!! YAY!!! Will you come & clean my house? I will do all the cooking if you will clean... Ha ha! Enjoy your time off! I wish all states outlawed stores from being open on Thanksgiving!!! (actually I wish store owners/managers had enough common sense/compassion to allow their employees to be off for Thanksgiving!!!)

I picked up my ham from the butcher yesterday & oh my does it look & smell yummy! I'm going to stick it in the oven on my lunch today! Can't wait to smell the house when I get home after work!!! For the Macy's parade in NYC, AccuWeather says "Mostly sunny, windy and much colder"---winds at 22 mph with gusts up to 39 mph. That could possibly ground some of the big balloons. It'll be awfully cold for the majorettes. I hope the storm doesn't keep any of the bands from getting there. They work so hard to raise money to get to NYC to have their big moment in the parade.

Oh my gosh! That sounds FREEZING!! I'm glad I'll be watching at home - indoors!! Could be chilly for our turkey trot though!! Hope the parade goes off w/o a hitch!!!
