Time to continue the christmas shopping after work today - and find some proper decorations to put up. My secretary just swung by with a Christmas star to hang from my office window, which I will get to in a second... just another cup of coffee

Good Morning Guys! I dislike that I am hardly on here these days especially this time of the year!!!!!!!! My toddler is a handful at the moment and together with housework, Christmas prep, work and a cold it leaves me with very little time or no time.

I hope everyone's Christmas prep is coming along nicely. I have to admit I have not been having enough down time to take it all in.......that needs to change. After all, I promised myself a Christmas break of at least 20mins everyday didn't I !!

Nice to see new faces on here and some returning ones too!

Good evening,

I have been a little scarce around here lately, I make it in daily but only for short periods of time.
I finished reading "A Christmas Carol" today, it was the first time I ever read it. I enjoyed it, and now I can start reading "Jacob T. Marley" by R. William Bennett. One of those "alternate history" novels, I have always liked those books.

Day off tomorrow, I need it because I feel like I am coming down with something.

I love the photo SF. The snow looks like it is really coming down in the picture and sticking everything; It looks really nice. :wink: That's one thing I hope we get this year, is some snow. It's been a bust for us for just about two years now around this area...

Good morning all and Merry Christmas!

Well we didn't get our tree last night. So maybe I'll grt lucky and tonight will work. I have to take my MIL to the airport late afternoon so she can fly to New Orleans to surprise my niece for her birthday this weekend. It's an hour there and back so perhaps we can do it on the way back into town.

Lots to do this morning. I have a side business doing glass engraving and had orders over the weekend for Christmas gifts which all need to be shipped this week. In order to get them out today I have to finish and pack before we leave for the airport.

Good morning to one and all... Whew....we got thru another Monday...blahhhh...

I have been extremely busy and am now in full packing mode. I have inspections set up this week for septic and well on the new house and then next week will be the home, chimney, radon and termite/ pest inspections. The appraisal will take place as well this week. We got the moving vans (2 - 26 foot box vans) all setup with 6 guys to do all the lifting, loading and unloading. So, in essence. everything is moving along, hoping to keep the sanity; lol....

This week I'm planning to get another Christmas tree up and decorated, Christmas cards made up and sent out and also get some shopping done. Oh yes, I will then have to take the tree back down the day after Christmas, but hey, I'm determined to have the tree decorated in both houses...(my wife doesn't know that, but that's my plan - it's a surprise!) Yup it's a lot to do, but I can do it without a mess...ha-ha-ha!

If I am not here as often in the next several weeks, it's just because I am busy, busy, busy moving and getting ready to move....Talk to you later, hope you all have a good day~

Good morning!
I need to get moving. So much to do today, lots of chores and errands. Now my youngest is home from school with a sore throat. I am bringing her to the doctor this morning. My middle one also has an appointment this afternoon to have her teeth cleaned. I really wanted to go shopping today. It doesn't look like it's going to happen. I feel like something comes up everyday that throws my day off. And the time is going by way too fast. Ugh!
