Just popping in for a quick visit tonight. It's been a long day and unfortunately I feel another headache coming on. I'm going to turn in as soon as the girls get home from work. The outlets are staying open later now for Christmas. I'm not crazy about them having closing shifts and coming out of there so late at night, especially on school nights. Anyway I'm desperately trying to finish shopping for the girls. I'm going to try and wrap it up tomorrow. I have a few more things on my list so I will be heading to the mall again tomorrow morning.
I hope everyone had a great day and enjoys the rest of their evening.

Kings defeat the Leafs 3-1! Great to see the Kings on national TV two days in a row... and win both games, too! They looked a little slow, but rookie goaltender Martin Jones kept them in the game long enough for them to win their fifth in a row!

...Now I have to purchase tickets for the Senators vs. Kings game in Ottawa on Saturday. Hopefully I can find a good deal on tickets. Money is hard to come by right now!

Both of her daughters, Cassie and Kristyn, and her life partner were by her bedside. Obviously, this time of year is something we all celebrate and cherish, and I can only hope that she can be strong during this Season and wish her and her family nothing but the best.

That is my favorite version of "A Christmas Carol." George C. Scott looks like Scrooge to me.

My mom is even worse today. Still a low-grade fever, but it got up to 100. She is tired, her head feels foggy, she's cold, not hungry, and just doesn't feel right. She called the doctor but they aren't in until next week. We also called her specialist because she is supposed to watch when she has low-grade fevers. They didn't send in for blood tests or anything. We thought if it was a virus that something else would be bothering her by now - stomach, head, throat, anything...but nope. We start our Christmas baking soon so she needs to get better! Ugh!

Good evening,

I think the point of no return has finally hit, it was very busy tonight at work. It seems people are realizing Christmas is only 2 weeks away, and they are starting to shop very heavily.
My vacation for the week after Christmas has finally been approved, I only put in for it back in August. It is a relief knowing I have that coming up.
Just winding down visiting MMC and watching "Home Alone 2."

I should catch some shut eye soon.

Ahhhh - sigh of pleasure. I got a lift home from work and now have the pleasurable time to watch Angela Lansbury in Mrs Santa Claus. This is the life!!!
